Myah Autry‘s story, the woman who entered the lion’s cage in the Bronx Zoo, just got more bizarre, with a recent video showing the controversial figure rapping on Instagram while waiting for police to arrest her.
It did not seem like she was all too bothered with the outcome of the situation, as she was very nonchalant about it all.
She took the opportunity to even taunt the police as they were searching for her, ready to arrest her on trespassing charges.
Autry, who is known online as Queen Empress Myáh Lareé Israelite, noted that she was not afraid of being handcuffed after already walking into a lion’s den, and was daring the police to come to arrest her.
The social media sensation added that she would not eat any food provided to her if she was locked up, although it is not exactly clear how she plans to sustain herself otherwise.
She also did not want to share any details about her decision to enter the lion’s den in the first place and was acting very carelessly about the whole situation in general.
The 32-year-old stated: “Don’t you ever come at me talking about I’m putting a lion in danger, or any animal in danger when I am a Hebrew herbalist. I know you’re gonna put this s–t on the news. I know it’s gonna be all over. When I am ready to talk about the particular situation of the lion, I will.”
Autry had previously mentioned: “If I walked in the lion den, do you think for one second I’m scared of a handcuff, I’m scared of a jail cell?” she had babbled on Instagram while nibbling a spinach leaf and sporting a crown of twigs. “And I’m not eating your food if y’all lock me up.”
She also rapped: “I’M KARMA, DARMA WITH THE FLAMES. I AM FIFTEEN CLEOPATRAS BELIEVE ME, RAPPING & DOING PUSH UP’S AT THE SAME TIME, MY NAME IS “QUEEN EMPRESS MYÁH LAREÉ ISRAELITE” AND DON’T YOU MUTHA F–KAS EVER FORGET IT.”
It does not seem like she minds the idea of getting arrested all too much either.
Many have expressed concern for the woman’s mental wellbeing, while others have speculated that she might be doing this all as a publicity stunt.
In any case, it is at least good to see that the lions did not have to get harmed over her actions, as some suspected might happen.
It would not have been the first case of zoo animals suffering from the irresponsible actions of a guest.
While some are critical of Autry’s actions, she is slowly building a real fan base online, and a lot of people seem interested in what she has to say as a rap artist.
