Woman Climbs Into Bronx Zoo Lion Enclosure In Viral Video, Then Poses With Cops

After a video went viral showing a woman named Myah Autry, also known as Myáh Lareé Israelite, 32, climbing into the lion enclosure at the Bronx Zoo, many people were outraged by her irresponsible behavior and claimed that she was endangering not only herself but also the animals at the exhibit and zoo staff.

And while the story seems to have died down to some extent, recent reports indicate that the woman has been successfully identified.

Some of the woman’s friends have come forward with admissions that they have recognized their pal in the video, and some have noted that her behavior over the last year has been getting increasingly erratic and has forced some of them to part ways with her.

That does not seem to need any specific pointing out, though, as the woman can be seen making some shocking comments under her posts of the video on social media.

She claimed that “animals can feel love just like humans,” using a lot of caps to get the message across, and then added that she had the same diet as a giraffe.

Thankfully, nobody got hurt in the ordeal, but many have pointed out that things could have gone much worse.

If Autry had been attacked by a lion, that could have forced zookeepers to put the animal down out of safety concerns.

The situation has drawn many negative responses towards the woman, with numerous people accusing her of acting irresponsibly and significantly out of line.

One critic explained: “What’s most upsetting about this video (among other things) is that, had the lion attacked, it would’ve been put down because this trashy human decided to force herself into its territory. Luckily that was not the case, but this behavior is disgusting and inappropriate. I genuinely hope there are consequences.”

A defender added: “Looks like the enclosure isn’t fenced. She easily got into the lion’s enclosure. This woman needs to be checked out ASAP. ?”

A third person shared: “You made it out alive because there’s a barrier the moat between you and lion, and it was a stupid thing to do!”

It does not appear like she is all too bothered with the accusations for the most part, however, especially in light of what her friends had to say.

The Instagrammer has been dubbed the “Bronx zoo lion woman,” and she has managed to pose with the police after the incident was over.

Some say it was all about getting attention, and she now has plenty of that.
