Angelina Jolie sure turned heads for all the wrong reasons while attending the red carpet premiere of her latest movie.
The legendary actress was accompanied by her stunning daughters — Zahara Jolie-Pitt, 16, and Shiloh Jolie-Pitt, 15 — at the Rome Film Fest premiere of Marvel’s Eternals.
While the teenagers received rave reviews for their fashion choices, Brad Pitt‘s ex-wife is being ridiculed for her hairstyle.
Angelina Jolie put her statuesque figure in a gorgeous strapless Versace silver-metallic dress.
However, it was hard to focus on the gown because of Jolie’s hair. For the soirée, the activist worked with a hair expert that decided to add waist-length hair extensions.
But the hairstylist failed to install and blend the extensions properly. Pictures and videos that surfaced online made it possible to see where Jolie’s real hair ended and where the extensions started.
The humanitarian was heavily criticized and mocked for a fashion faux pas by the Internet.
A social media user had this to say: “This can’t be real.” Another person shared: “Who did her wrong ????.”
But as it turns out, Jolie does not need the outside world to bash her fashion mishaps — her own children are experts at it.
Angelina Jolie did an interview where she said that her children had no mercy on her for the tight spandex costume she wore in the movie.
The mother of six said this is what her kids — Maddox, 20, Pax, 17, Zahara, 16, Shiloh, 15, and 13-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox had to say: “Would you wanna see your mother wearing that? Your mom walks in with a gold spandex outfit and gold hair; they’re like, ‘What do you do for a living? What are you? Get back in your robe.”
She also revealed that her children’s decision to poke fun at her is not at all compared to all the love they give her.
She confessed: “My children have done many, many loving things. My children’s kindness has been very healing to me.”
Brad Pitt’s oldest daughter, Zahara Jolie-Pitt, previously stole the spotlight in a shimmering dress that looked familiar to many.
The teenager looked gorgeous in a dazzling creation by Elie Saab Couture that Jolie wore in 2014.
As for Shiloh Jolie-Pitt, she looked beautiful in a sand-colored asymmetrical dress that also belonged to her mother.
Jolie spoke about her children’s recent epic fashion moments on the red carpet with her by saying: “My kids are all mixed with vintage and in my old Oscars dress. We did all vintage and upcycled my old stuff.”
The actress seems to have adjusted well to the family’s new reality after the divorce.
