At the age of 65, Bob Saget has died. The beloved comedian was discovered unresponsive in his hotel room in Florida by hotel security.

According to the authorities, first responders were called to the Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes, on Sunday at around 4 p.m. ET, where the Full House star was found “not breathing.”

The police confirmed that the legendary comedian was pronounced dead at the scene.

Bob Saget’s cause of death has not yet been revealed, but in a statement shared by the Orange County Sheriff’s Department, they explained that they found “no signs of foul play or drug use” in this situation.

The medical examiner is set to make the formal determination of the cause of death in the upcoming days.

The Sheriff’s Department tweeted: “Earlier today, deputies were called to the Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes for a call about an unresponsive man in a hotel room. The man was identified as Robert Saget & pronounced deceased on scene. Detectives found no signs of foul play or drug use in this case.”

Bob Saget, who was affectionately known as “America’s Dad,” hit stardom by playing the funny and loveable Danny Tanner on the classic TV series Full House from 1987 to 1995.

He reprised his role for Netflix’s reboot of the Fuller House franchise, which was canceled in 2020.

Bob Saget, who was also the host of America’s Funniest Home Videos, had been traveling all over the country on a comedy tour in the past weeks.

On Saturday night, the comedian performed at the Ponte Verda Concert Hall in Jacksonville, Florida, and was set to take his funny show to Oklahoma in the upcoming days.

Bob Saget is survived by his wife, Kelly Rizzo, and his three daughters — Aubrey, Lara, and Jennifer — whom he shares with ex-wife Sherri Kramer.

In a statement issued by the family, they confessed that they are heartbroken by the sudden death of Saget.

John Stamos said: “I am broken. I am gutted. I am in complete and utter shock. I will never ever have another friend like him. I love you so much, Bobby.”

Dave Coulier penned this devastating tweet: “My heart is broken. I love you, Bob. Your forever brother, Dave.”

Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen, who played Michelle Tanner on Full House, penned a moving statement about their longtime friend and co-star Bob Saget on Sunday that read: “Bob was the most loving, compassionate, and generous man. We are deeply saddened that he is no longer with us but know that he will continue to be by our side to guide us as gracefully as he always has.”

They continued: “We are thinking of his daughters, wife, and family and are sending our condolences.”
