Elvis Presley’s Ex-Wife, Priscilla Presley, Makes Rare And Emotional Appearance With Daughter Lisa Marie Presley And All Three Granddaughters

Elvis Movie Family Hands And Prints Ceremony

In a rare sight to behold — three generations of Elvis Presley‘s family came together to honor the legendary and controversial artist.

This week, Elvis Presley’s ex-wife, Priscilla Presley, 77, and their only daughter, Lisa Marie Presley, 54, who has been promoting the film, Elvis, made a stop in Hollywood.

Lisa Marie Presley was accompanied by her three daughters — Riley Keough, 33, and twins Harper and Finley Lockwood, 13, as the ladies attended a hand and footprint ceremony.

The event took place at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, California.

The five women were joined by Australian director Baz Luhrmann, the talented filmmaker behind the biopic, and its star, Austin Butler, who is rumored to have Oscar buzz for his stellar performance.

Tom Hanks also appears in the movie as Elvis’s manager, Colonel Tom Parker.

The ladies representing the King of Rock and Roll posed for the cameras as they showed their handprints in the cement.

The remaining Presley family members have been going through an emotional rollercoaster ride as they talk about the film that brilliantly and accurately depicts the fascinating life of Elvis Presley.

While celebrating the epic project, the Presleys are mourning the loss of the family’s only male, son, and grandson.

Lisa Marie Presley, who rarely speaks to the media or on social media, made an exception to briefly mention her son, Benjamin Keogh, who died as a result of suicide about two years ago.

Lisa Marie took to her Instagram account to write this: “I haven’t posted in quite some time because there really isn’t much to say, as I am and will forever be mourning the loss of my son.”

She went on to say: “Absolutely exquisite. Austin Butler channeled and embodied my father’s heart and soul beautifully. In my humble opinion, his performance is unprecedented and FINALLY done accurately and respectfully.”

She also wrote: “You can feel and witness Baz’s pure love, care, and respect for my father throughout this beautiful film, and it is finally something that myself and my children and their children can be proud of forever.”

She concluded: “What moved me to tears as well was watching Riley and Harper, and Finley afterward, all three visibly overwhelmed in the best way possible and so filled with pride about their grandfather and his legacy in a way that I have not previously experienced. It breaks my heart that my son isn’t here to see it. He would have absolutely loved it as well.”

Lisa Marie Presley went on to describe the movie as “such generational trauma … in a good way” that made her daughters cry.

Priscilla Presley did an interview where she revealed that her late former husband would have loved the movie.

She added: “It was really intense. As a film, it’s just an exceptional film.”

The legendary artist remains a very fascinating figure.
