Prince William Delivers Direct Response To Prince Harry Over Queen Elizabeth Comment

Prince William Harry Queen Elizabeth Protection

After “Megxit,” another royal couple has made a big move — Prince William, his wife, Kate Middleton, and their three children have chosen to relocate.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex said adieu to their massive and lavish home at Kensington Palace in London.

According to experts, the Cambridges’ Kensington Palace apartment contains over 20 rooms, two reception rooms, a study room, and a dining room with three kitchens.

They have opted for what is described as one of Queen Elizabeth‘s modest properties known as Adelaide Cottage, which comes with four bedrooms.

The future King and Queen of England selected the cottage because they were “very keen for a modest home.”

A source shared more details to The Sun about the downsizing: “They were adamant they didn’t want anything too showy or anything that needed renovating or extra security so as not to be a burden on the taxpayer.”

It will be a drastic change for the couple’s children, who will be uprooted from their childhood home.

It will be especially emotional for Prince George and Princess Charlotte, who have to part ways with their friends and teachers at St Thomas’s Battersea.

Prince William and Kate Middleton appeared to have chosen Lambrook for their children after they were spotted visiting the school on several occasions.

So, why did Kate Middleton and her husband relocate to Adelaide Cottage? A royal insider spoke to the Daily Mail and revealed that Prince William decided to find a home in Berkshire because he wants to be closer to Her Majesty to protect her.

The Queen spends most of her time at Windsor Castle due to health issues.

The insider explained: “It’s one of the things that has hastened their move to Berkshire this summer. Losing the Duke of Edinburgh has a left a big hole in all their lives. He was a great counsel to William, and he feels very protective of his grandmother.”

The fact that the insider said that Prince William is relocating because he is protective of the Queen has prompted a royal pundit to share another theory.

He claimed that the heir to the throne made the move as a way to send a clear message to his brother, Prince Harry, who recently said in an interview that he wants to protect the Queen.

Prince Harry made an appearance on NBC’s TODAY Show where he said this about his meeting with The Queen: “Being with her it was great. It was just so nice to see her, she’s in great form. She’s always got a great sense of humor with me, and I’m just making sure that she’s protected and got the right people around her.”

He added: “The final decision for Prince William and Kate to make that tricky move out from Kensington Palace into Windsor Castle was sweetened up by the media.”

Royal expert Neil Sean weighed in by saying that Prince William has moved closer to the Queen to let Prince Harry know that he and his wife are the right people to protect her.

He stated: “But more importantly, the message is basically Harry and Meghan wanted to make sure that the Queen had the right people around her, so William and Kate moving directly into Windsor Castle was a direct message to say, ‘we are the right people. Kate and Queen are very close. They speak almost daily on the phone. She holds her in very high regard.”

Her Majesty is a lucky grandmother because her two oldest grandsons are now fighting to see who can be her better protector.
