They even found a clever way to make their big red carpet debut at one of the year’s most talked-about events — yet there were not noticeable.
At the 2022 Met Gala, Bradley Cooper and Huma Abedin were inches away from each other as they posed for pictures on the famous steps.
According to the media outlet, Abedin and Cooper were introduced to each other by Vogue editor Anna Wintour. The fashion legend is a close friend of both Abedin and Cooper.
The insider said: “Anna definitely played matchmaker. She’s BFFs with Bradley and adores Huma.”
Another person with ties to the couple claimed that Bradley Cooper and Huma Abedin were not in a rush to reveal the romance to the world.
The source confirmed: “Bradley has been quietly dating Huma for a few months now, [and] they’ve been keeping it really quiet.”
The person in the know also took the opportunity to reveal that Cooper ended the relationship he had with actress Dianna Agron before he started dating Huma Abedin.
The same insider claimed: “Bradley broke up with [actress] Dianna Agron and started dating Huma.”
The well-placed source added: “Abedin has told a few friends she has a new man … but she didn’t say who it was. She was keeping it very close to her chest. They are perfect for each other. They’re both into power and politics and human affairs.”
Huma Abedin was married to disgraced politician Anthony Weiner who was caught in two high-profile sex scandals that led him to serve 21 months in prison and required him to permanently register as a sex offender.
In a recent interview, Huma Abedin opened up about how Anna Wintour helped her during her husband’s embarrassing sex scandals.
She confessed: “I had my heart broken, dragged out, stomped on, humiliated. I lived with shame, in shame, for so long. In hindsight, I was in extreme trauma. And just being out and being with her, I just felt sort of normal and loved.”
