Maybe Prince Harry‘s upcoming book might have been the thing that broke the camel’s back for the aging Monarch of England.
Queen Elizabeth II is a doting grandmother and mother, but her first and most important role is being the head of state.
While she is there to show love and support to her family, she has dedicated 70 years to the throne and will not sit idly by and watch Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, cause irreparable damage to it.
The pair has conducted wild interviews with Oprah Winfrey and other famous hosts and used their titles to land massive contracts.
It had appeared that Her Majesty was willing to forgive some of the drama caused by Prince Harry and his spouse. However, she is not ready to forget.
Queen Elizabeth appeared to take extraordinary measures while Markle and Prince Harry were in London for the Jubilee’s conversations not to leak.
She also declined to give the Duke and Duchess of Sussex any pictures and camera time that could be used in the reality/docuseries or the tell-all memoir due out later this year.
Prince William and Prince Charles went out of their way to ensure that the Jubilee was drama free by controlling Markle and her husband.
The heirs to the throne kept Prince Harry and Markle away from high-profile events. The future kings made sure to never interact with the royal renegades to avoid all uncomfortable moments in the public eye.
Speaking to Palace Confidential on Mailplus, Tom Bower said: “It shows the real royals instead of the Montecito royals. I think they handled the whole Jubilee visit with Meghan and Harry very well.”
He also stated that the Queen must be delighted by the way Prince Charles and Prince William handled the situation with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and added: “They controlled it and made sure there was no damaging fallout. I think the Queen will be pleased that her son and grandson are rescuing and repairing the problem.”
Royal expert Neil Sean spoke about the upcoming book and revealed that it is the biggest card that Prince Harry holds after many of his deals became dicey.
He claimed: “It’s a little bit dicey with Netflix because Meghan lost Pearl, the animated series she was putting together. Then, of course, Harry hoped to get something more than just the Invictus Games, but that seems to have gone a little wayward, so, tricky times.”
He added that Prince Harry might be facing an uphill battle to be a bestseller because of Tom Bower’s book and the lack of exclusive royal content that they failed to get during the trip to England.
He said: “Everything now centers on this book. My advice to Penguin Random House, I think you’ve really been upstaged already by the book in demand, Revenge by Tom Bower. It’s going to be really difficult to sell a royal book, particularly at Christmastime.”
Many observers say that the prince is going to find a way to prevail.
