Queen Elizabeth II is said to be working hard to keep some semblance of peace in the royal family, and Prince William also seems open about starting a new chapter with his brother, Prince Harry.
The future King is very careful, though, after all that has happened in the past five years.
However, that does not mean that Kate Middleton feels the same way.
The future Queen consort is a woman of many hats — she is a mother, wife, counselor to Prince William, a fashion icon, and a dedicated working member of the royal family.
Kate Middleton has another important role in the family — she often plays the peacemaker.
Many royal observers have revealed that Kate Middleton has taken the job of being mediator and conciliator very seriously, especially after the passing of Queen Elizabeth’s beloved husband, Prince Philip.
Despite the controversial interviews, the uncomfortable moments and snubs at the Queen‘s Jubilee and the upcoming tell-all book, Middleton is said to be working on a quiet plan to get the brothers to meet in December.
At the end of the year, Middleton and Prince William will travel to Boston to hold the second Earthshot Prize Awards.
The Duchess of Cambridge is hoping to use the opportunity to set up a meeting between her husband and her brother-in-law.
Prince Harry has agreed to take part in the sit-down with his older brother and start the healing process after more than two years of a sad and bitter rift.
An insider told a popular media outlet: “Kate is looking to get the two brothers together when they’re all on US soil later this year, if not sooner, and the word is that Harry’s receptive to that.”
According to the royal insider, who spoke to Closer Magazine, the Duke of Cambridge has some reservations about the tête-à-tête because of the tell-all memoir that will be out around Christmas.
Prince William is more cautious and will wait to read Prince Harry’s highly anticipated book to take a decision.
If Prince Harry goes easy on the royals and the Monarchy, Prince William will accept his wife’s suggestion and move forward with the reconciliation process.
The source added: “Provided Harry’s book isn’t too hurtful towards the monarchy – and there’s optimism that it’s been toned down significantly since the original drafts – then William could, with encouragement from Kate, look to build bridges with his brother and put the past behind them.”
Insiders recently told the publication that Prince Harry is focused on his life, pain, struggles, mistakes, and rebirth after finding love in Meghan Markle and his two children.
It seems that the former soldier has no plans to start another war of words with his royal relatives.
The royal insider went on to say Kate Middleton believes “enough time has elapsed now for William and Harry to sit down and resolve their differences face-to-face.”
It is not known where the royal brothers might reconnect. Many royal experts predict that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle might travel to New York to attend Cambridges’ mega charity event that will raise millions to combat climate change.
Some royal backers believe that a warm and fuzzy reunion between the siblings will take place during the year-end festivities in the snowy and brightly lit New York.
