Since their return to California, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have found themselves in a massive tug of war between their bosses and the monarchy.
And as time passes, the power couple seems to be losing at the two ends, but many predict that they will eventually cut the cord and choose the master that best serves them.
After causing sleepless nights for the entire royal family with the interviews and business ventures, the duo seemed to have changed their ways after the death of Queen Elizabeth II.
Prince Harry and his spouse have been doing their best to keep the peace with King Charles III and Prince William.
Yet, chaos is looming with the Netflix series and upcoming bombshell book. The renegade royals have massive monthly bills for their private security and mortgage, so they must keep their bosses happy while proving to King Charles that they can be team players.
Is it possible to reconcile the need to stay quiet for King Charles while giving Netflix the blockbuster drama they need to attract viewers?
A royal expert weighed in to say it is impossible to be loud and silent simultaneously. Prince Harry and Markle can only serve one master, and it will not be King Charles.
Via The Daily Mail, the royal author revealed that after all has been said and done, Markle and her husband will bring on the drama and bombshell for the Netflix cameras and seal the deal for another season on the streaming giant.
The commentator believes that the pair will also bring the element of surprise in the docuseries — there will be some footage of their young children, Archie and Lilibet Diana.
To keep enjoying their lavish lifestyle in California, the pair will have a redo of the Oprah Winfrey interview but on a larger scale.
Royal expert Richard Eden stated: “For any good fly-on-the-wall documentary, you need some tension, and you need drama; otherwise, it’s just boring, isn’t it? You know, Netflix, they do want bang for their buck.”
He added: “Look, [the Sussexes] have always been keen to keep the children out of the public eye, but then when they gave that interview to Oprah Winfrey, what did we see? We saw Archie, you know, along the beach, and we saw the first glimpses of family. So, I’m sure Netflix, if they’re paying that money, would expect to see the children as well.”
There are multiple reports circulating claiming that Markle and her spouse requested meetings with their bosses, hoping to tone down the book and docuseries but were unsuccessful in their efforts.
Some experts believe that the pair has no choice but to take the drama and surprise-filled route to remain relevant and financially independent because, thus far, King Charles has not offered them an alternative.
The King is eyeing a slimmed-down or almost skeletal monarchy and will not allocate any funds and privileges to Prince Harry and Markle (that was made clear to them when they signed the documents for “Megxit”).
This is why they will be forced to do what benefits their bank account and family.
