Moynahan and Brady share 15-year-old John Edward Thomas Moynahan. The actress confessed in past interviews that she has a strong parenting relationship with Brady.
And Bündchen calls John, her bonus son. The actress, who knows a thing or two about public breakups, took to her official Instagram to let others know that not all relationships are meant to last.
The quote that was lifted from marriage therapist Vienna Pharaon went on to say that there is no reconciliation for some couples who should treasure their past moments together and acknowledge that the time has come to move forward.
The note said: “Not everything is meant to be mended. Not all relationships are meant to last a lifetime. Sometimes we have to learn to get comfortable with the gifts that are offered through the ruptures and the endings instead of the stories of repair and reconciliation.”
Many are baffled by the message and tone of Moynahan’s post because of Brady and Bündchen’s current situation.
After weeks of relationship turmoil, photo ops without wedding rings, and shady Instagram messages and interviews, Brady and Bündchen announced that their divorce had been filed.
Bündchen announced the end of her 13-year marriage via a post on her Instagram Story that read: “We have grown apart, and while it is, of course, difficult to go through something like this, I feel blessed for the time we had together and only wish the best for Tom always.”
She added: “My priority has always been and will continue to be our children, whom I love with all my heart. We will continue co-parenting to give them the love, care, and attention they greatly deserve.”
Brady posted his own statement saying: “We are blessed with beautiful and wonderful children who will continue to be the center of our world in every way.”
The terms of the divorce will remain confidential, but several aspects have leaked to the media.
Putting their two children first, the exes took part in a “Parent Education and Family Stabilization” course to help them navigate the breakup.
It has been confirmed that Bündchen purchased $1.25 million for herself and her two children.
