Angelina Jolie and her estranged husband, Brad Pitt, might not see eye to eye on many things — but they share the same pride and anxiety as their daughter — Shiloh Jolie-Pitt, 16, takes another step toward becoming completely independent.
This week, photos show that the teenager is indeed all grown up. The talented dancer drove around Los Angeles to run some errands.
The high school student was spotted as she exited her black vehicle and entered a 7/11 to buy some snacks.
Shiloh Jolie-Pitt was dressed comfortably for the incredible California weather. She opted for a black hoodie and matching sweatpants, and red sneakers. The teen also wore a face mask to do her shopping.
A source has revealed that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are both proud of Shiloh, who is growing up to be an extraordinary young lady full of talent, grace, and kindness.
The pride the two parents share also comes with stress. The person in the know claimed: “It’s nerve-wracking for any parent when their kid first gets behind the wheel. But Angelina’s already been through this with her three oldest, so she knows how to handle it fairly well at this point. Angelina’s eldest sons Maddox and Pax, 21 and 18, and daughter Zahara, 17, already have their licenses.”
The insider continued: “Angelina Jolie is the primary caretaker of her six children since her bitter divorce from Brad Pitt, which is why she is the one who laid down the ground rules for Shiloh to be able to drive and be safe at all times.”
The insider stated: “There are extra rules that Shiloh has to follow for the first year, like no friends in the car without a chaperone, and she can’t be out alone past 11.”
Shiloh is not only independent but also very responsible and has made Jolie’s job as a parent simple.
The source concluded by: “It’s the law, so it’s not a case of Angelina having to enforce anything, but it’s a little bit of a relief that there are some restrictions. It’s a big change. Fortunately, Shiloh’s a great kid and very responsible; Angelina feels secure in that.”
Jolie was reunited with all her children — Maddox, 21; Pax, 18; Zahara, 17; Shiloh, 16, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 14, during the Thanksgiving holiday.
Photos confirmed that Zahara, who attends HBCU Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia, had returned to California to be with her family.
Jolie and her oldest daughter were photographed earlier this week enjoying some shopping in West Hollywood.
