Chris Evans is in the news for a long list of great reasons and one rather embarrassing story. Multiple sources have confirmed that America’s favorite superhero is off the market.
Indeed the Captain America star has fallen head over heels for actress Alba Baptista.
According to PEOPLE Magazine, Baptista, 25, and Evans, 41, have been together “for over a year, and it’s serious.”
The star Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris has met all the people who matter to Evans as the pair look to take the romance to the next level.
A source told PEOPLE: “They are in love, and Chris has never been happier. His family and friends all adore her.”
While Evans is a superhero and recently earned himself the title of PEOPLE‘s Sexiest Man Alive, his girlfriend has an impressive résumé.
Alba Baptista is a talented actress. According to PEOPLE, she speaks five languages “and is the daughter of an engineer and a translator and has provided extensive humanitarian work to an orphanage in Cambodia.”
The couple confirmed the romance by strolling hand in hand in New York City’s Central Park. Chris Evans also found himself in the headlines for ghosting a previous love interest.
Jana Kramer shared an unsexy story about Evans that might save his romance with Baptista.
Thanks to Kramer, Baptista has discovered that she should stay clear of asparagus for dinner while dating Evans.
During a recent episode of her Whine Down with Jana Kramer podcast, she made an embarrassing revelation about her dating experience with Evans.
She revealed that about ten years ago, she went out with the star multiple times, and all was going well until a pee incident.
She shared: “He was definitely known… He wasn’t Captain America, but he was the heartthrob, cutie. I can’t remember how many dates it was, and I just remember the last date.”
The singer went on to say: “It was a fun time, but I was getting a little sleepy, so I was like, ‘I’m going to go to bed. I had asparagus for dinner that night. So I went to the bathroom, and he immediately went after me… And so that’s the last interaction that I remember, is he going into the bathroom after I just went to the bathroom with asparagus pee.”
Kramer confessed that she “never” heard from Evans again after leaving the following day and jokingly claimed that her exit was “the asparagus walk of shame.”
She also revealed: “I don’t remember cuddling that night. That’s always been in the back of my mind whenever I think about or see Chris Evans or Captain America, and I’m like, ‘I had stinky pee.'”
Kramer, who got a divorce in 2021, said she is open to dating Evans again. As a matter of fact, she sent him a private message on social media after splitting from her husband after six years of marriage.
Evans seems to be focused on his new lady love and is seriously thinking about marriage and starting a family.
The actor told PEOPLE: “That’s absolutely something I want. Wife, kids, building a family. When you read about most of the best artists, whether it’s actors, painters, writers, most of them [admit] it wasn’t the work they made [that they are most proud of], it was about the relationships, the families they created, the love they found, the love they shared. So it’s also something through my long 41 years that also rings true. Those things are the most important. I love the idea of tradition and ceremony, and I had a lot of that in my life, so the idea of creating that, I can’t think of anything better.”
Evans has not addressed the Kramer story.
