Since divorcing NFL star Tom Brady, Gisele Bündchen has been hit with multiple rumors in the love department.
It was first claimed by reliable sources, who spoke to PEOPLE Magazine that the supermodel was getting close to fitness expert Joaquim Valente.
Gisele Bündchen and the famous jiu-jitsu instructor have been spotted multiple times in Costa Rica. Weeks later, the Daily Mail broke the news that the mother of two had moved on with another man.
It was claimed that the Brazilian stunner was dating billionaire Jeff Soffer. The story grabbed headlines because the business mogul is a close friend of Tom Brady.
Soffer is also the ex-husband of model and businesswoman Elle Macpherson. The report that surfaced at the time claimed that the duo was in the early stages of the romance and they were getting to know each other.
However, it seems that the publication got the story wrong, or someone was trying to drag Gisele Bündchen into a messy situation that she wanted no part of. Wasting no time, Gisele Bündchen shut down the story directly and indirectly.
A source told the New York Post that the Miami property developer has been in a long-term relationship with another woman. Jeff Soffer and Colleen Schiff have been together for more than seven years, and they got engaged in late 2021.
The person told the media outlet: “He’s been in a serious relationship for seven years and is currently engaged. I have zero relationships with him in any way. He’s Tom’s friend, not my friend.”
Schiff was married to the late Miami real estate tycoon Steven Schiff, who died in 2017. Gisele Bündchen did a fiery interview with Vanity Fair where she slammed the rumor and took a shot at Soffer for being too old.
Bundchen, 42, said she had no relationship with Soffer, 55, and explained that he is Tom Brady’s friend.
The influencer made this harsh remark: “I have zero relationships with him in any way. He’s Tom’s friend, not my friend. I wouldn’t be with this guy. I mean, puh-leeze. They were saying I’m with this guy. He’s old because he’s got money – it’s ridiculous.”
Soffer has a net worth of $2.2 billion, while Bündchen is worth $400 million.
She went on to slam whoever planted the ridiculous rumor in the media by saying: “Who benefits from this? Why would somebody plant something like this? There’s only one reason. They want to make me look like something I’m not.”
Bündchen got emotional as she revealed “the hate she’s received since people began creating false stories about me from the beginning of the divorce. Seeing lies being created all the time about yourself is not easy.”
The former Victoria’s Secret Angel concluded by saying that she just wanted to be left alone.
