Prince William’s Tenacity Forces Prince Harry To Likely Cancel His Appearance At King Charles’s Coronation

Prince Harry William Princess Diana Mothers Day

Prince Harry has one foot in and one foot out regarding King Charles III‘s coronation ceremony. In April, Prince Harry, via his representative, confirmed that he would be present for the significant event.

It was also said that Meghan Markle would not attend — the former actress would prefer to stay in Montecito with her children — Archie and Lilibet.

King Charles selected Archie’s birthday to have his vast social and political gathering, and therefore, Markle opted to be in California to help her son celebrate his special day.

Close sources to Prince Harry explained that he would spend less than 24 hours in his native country because he plans to fly back to the United States and be present for Archie’s milestone.

In the days that followed Prince Harry’s announcement that he accepted King Charles’s invitation, he and Markle were hit with a deluge of negative stories that contained sources from Buckingham Palace.

Close friends of King Charles, Prince William, and Kate Middleton all spoke to the press, explaining that Prince Harry would be ignored, humiliated, punished, and treated unkindly at the coronation ceremony.

Associates of Prince William claimed that reconciliation was out of the question, and he had no plans to speak or even look at his brother.

Prince William feels betrayed by the revelations Prince Harry made in interviews, in his book, and inside the courtroom and is determined to close this chapter of his life.

A friend of the heir told The Daily Beast: “William will never trust Harry again. How could he? The truth is William absolutely hates Harry now and will never forgive him for the damage he has done to the family. The brothers were so close when they were younger that it is just incredible to those of us who knew them back then that they have reached a stage where Harry is revealing his brother’s confidential legal settlements.”

Camilla, Queen Consort‘s former husband, and her son, conducted interviews to throw Prince Harry under the bus. It seems the barrage of warnings and threats to snub Prince Harry have gotten the best of him.

King Charles’s staff and senior royal officials have revealed to The Daily Mail that there is a possibility that The Duke of Sussex might decline to appear at the ceremony at the last minute.

The royal insiders told the publication that Prince Harry has refused to give any details about his trip. And he is not responding to the emails with any concrete answers.

According to the publication, Prince Harry has not confirmed any of the important decisions regarding the crowning.

The media outlet claimed: “Coronation organizers are ‘stressed’ about Prince Harry’s plans for Saturday, complaining that establishing them is ‘like trying to communicate with Mars.’ Insiders told The Mail on Sunday that they were still seeking confirmation of ‘when he is coming, where he is staying, when he is going back and whether he is happy with his seating position in the Abbey.’ Some are even suspicious that he might still pull out at the last minute.”

Insiders say: “They have been told so little about Harry’s plans that ‘anything could happen,’ ranging from a token appearance to a last-minute no-show. He has not been responding other than in a “We acknowledge your email” holding manner. It’s like trying to communicate with Mars – it was easier to deal with Sinn Fein.”

The coronation source added: “Harry seems to be adopting a High Noon approach, making everyone sweat about his movements. While the Royals are confident that he will show up, others involved are not quite so convinced. The working assumption now is that assuming he does come, it could mean arriving as late as very early Saturday by private jet and leaving by late afternoon the same day.”

Some royal experts believed that it would be welcomed news for Prince William and other members of the family if Prince Harry had a change of heart and skipped the event.
