Meghan Markle chose her family over pageantry, fashion, and historical photos at King Charles III‘s coronation.
Prince Harry was forced to travel to London alone because Markle opted to stay in California for her son’s birthday party.
The Royal Family was quick to breathe a sigh of relief that Markle decided not to attend the crowning.
However, according to some royal and fashion experts, it was a great travesty that Markle was not at the ceremony to bring her excellent fashion game.
In an interview with Newsweek‘s The Royal Report podcast, fashion and beauty expert Miranda Holder said it was devastating that Markle’s sense of style and fashion could not be displayed at the coronation.
The celebrity stylist said: “Meghan’s outfit would have brought its own special X factor. From a purely fashion perspective, first and foremost, which is how I always approach things, it was devastating.”
She stated that while other royal ladies, including Kate Middleton and Queen Camilla, looked stunning, Markle’s Hollywood pizazz was missing from the event.
Holder claimed: “Kate and Sophie and Princess Anne, they all made up for it and looked phenomenal. Camilla, of course, with her beautiful Bruce Oldfield gown, that was just absolutely exquisite, I thought. But it would have been just so fun to see what Meghan would have worn, and she would’ve just brought a little bit of extra X factor to the whole occasion.”
On Tuesday, Markle will repair the major disappointment caused at the coronation. The former actress is planning to turn heads in a stunning gown at The Women of Vision event in New York.
Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, will receive a prestigious award at the Ms. Foundation gala for “her global advocacy to empower and advocate on behalf of women and girls,” according to the organization.
Miranda Holder said it “definitely feels like far too long since we have seen Meghan glammed up to the nines.”
She added: “She was conspicuously absent from the Coronation, which, despite potentially being a triumph for the Royal Family, definitely left a glamorous, Meghan-shaped fashion hole in the grand procession.”
The expert claimed that Markle might pull all the stops at the event by wearing a stunning color that accentuates her natural beauty.
She shared: “For the Gala tomorrow, I’m really hoping the Duchess pulls out all the style stops. I would love to see Meghan in vivid color. She has what stylists term a ‘Winter’ complexion, so the deep jewel tones, as well as black and white hues, look fantastic on her. I would personally love to see her in vivid cobalt blue, or perhaps regal purple, something really show-stopping.”
She wants Markle to wear a silhouette similar to her wedding reception gown by Stella McCartney because she “looks just fabulous in a halter neck. If she’s channeling a halter next dress in a jewel, black, or white stunning fabric – she’s scored a big style point for me.”
Markle might go in a different direction.
Yet again another so called xpert trying to make us like a D rated actress that was already sacked from her second rate part in suits. Of course she can afford these dresses that she wears they rake 90% off the top of the charity money that goes into archwell I hope that she is very proud of herself such a no good horrible person
