If Prince Harry thought he had made progress with King Charles III by attending his coronation ceremony, he should think again.

After news broke that Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, and her mother, Doria Ragland, were involved in a car chase with aggressive photographers and two NYPD officers, the media contacted the British royal family for comments.

Prince William and Kate Middleton‘s spokesperson refused to comment on the developing story.

However, King Charles took an extraordinary angle on the situation. Buckingham Palace issued the following statement on Prince Harry and Markle’s New York car chase: “This isn’t something we’re commenting on.”

According to royal watchers, the brutal non-comment from the King’s spokesperson implies that he has no time to worry or focus on the Montecito royals and their personal issues.

It has also been confirmed by royal reporter Omid Scobie that, thus far, no members of the British royal family have reached out to the Sussexes to check on them.

Tuesday night, Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, made a splash in New York by attending the Ms. Foundation for Women event.

The mother of two was honored for her work with the prestigious Women of Vision award. Meghan Markle’s mother, Doria Ragland, was also present for the big night.

After the ceremony, the runaway royals and Ragland were said to be in a “near catastrophic car chase” involving aggressive paparazzi and tainted vehicles, and a motorcycle.

The spokesperson said that Prince Harry, his wife, and mother-in-law suffered the horrific car chase that lasted at least “two hours” in the busy streets of New York.

The statement began: “Last night, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and Ms. Ragland were involved in a near catastrophic car chase at the hands of a ring of highly aggressive paparazzi. This relentless pursuit, lasting over two hours, resulted in multiple near collisions involving other drivers on the road, pedestrians, and two NYPD (New York Police Department) officers.”

It went on to say: “While being a public figure comes with a level of interest from the public, it should never come at the cost of anyone’s safety. Dissemination of these images, given the ways in which they were obtained, encourages a highly intrusive practice which is dangerous to all involved.”

The royals and Ragland were driven by a taxi to a police precinct after their bodyguard deemed the matter serious.

The authorities issued a statement on the chase saying it was an uncomfortable situation, but it was never life-threatening.

Prince Harry and Markle are said to be upset and shaken by the incident.

  1. I may be wrong but didn’t the police report say that they had a police escort in front of them and they drove around 57th street for an hour and 15 minutes when the police car took them to the station where they stayed for about 20 minutes then a taxi was called to drive them to where they were staying which took about 10 minutes and according to the taxi driver the drive was just like any other busy night in new york and the only vehicle to be stopped by the police and reported for careless driving was one of harrys 4 SUV’s following him and it was him that nearly hit the police officers whilst trying to block of roads by going onto the pavement to me it seems that it was staged to coencid with harrys court cases he’s got going on at the moment but who am I to judge
