It is still being determined how Prince William and King Charles III have found time from their busy schedules — one traveling to Jordan and the other to Romania — to address the reports circulating claiming that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are heading for a divorce.
The chatter about a pending split between the Duke and Duchess of Sussex started in late May after a story surfaced claiming that they are spending time apart.
It was revealed that Prince Harry is often seen in a posh hotel in California without his wife.
The Sun reported: “Harry has a room kept on standby for him at a leading hotel chain in Montecito, close to the couple’s £ 12 million mansion. He occasionally stays there without his wife, Meghan. Harry is also said to stay at the exclusive San Vicente Bungalows, a private members club in Los Angeles after going to a gym class called Barry’s Bootcamp nearby. Harry regards it as an escape place.”
Prince Harry and Markle’s spokesperson denied the story. Days later, another report hit the web claiming that Markle is often seen partying without Prince Harry.
British journalist Petronella Wyatt shared the following surprising information about Prince Harry and Markle’s private life: “Friends of mine who live near Harry and Meghan are always bumping into Meghan at parties these days. Strangely, she tends to leave Harry at home. La Megs has become pally with someone from a very famous American family, whose wealth surpasses that of the Windsors.”
Last week, Prince William and his wife, Kate Middleton, had multiple royal engagements, they have three young children to raise, and the pair took a trip overseas.
Prince William has the $1.3 billion Duchy of Cornwall to manage, yet he took some time to speak to a friend about the divorce chatter surrounding Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
Prince William believes Prince Harry’s divorce would be a bloody nightmare for the Royal Family
Prince William’s pal spoke to the Daily Beast to explain that he views it as a nightmare scenario for the British royal family.
The heir to the throne believes it would be a burden for the royals to have Prince Harry back in London. William, Prince of Wales, is already frustrated at the idea of finding Prince Harry a job if he splits from the former American actress.
The friend stated: “William and Kate had plenty of reservations about the marriage in the first place, precisely because they feared Meghan wasn’t right for Harry. But what’s done is done, and now William, like everyone else in the family, just hopes it all works out. Harry returning to the U.K., and trying to find him a job, would be a bloody nightmare.”
King Charles also has some thoughts about Prince Harry and Markle’s potential split. A friend of the King told the media outlet that his wish for the pair is that they remain married.
Prince Harry and Markle set the record straight
Petronella Wyatt revealed in the Daily Telegraph this week that Prince Harry and Markle might sometimes have “me time” to work on projects or for business meetings, but they are nowhere near divorce town.
People, who know Prince Harry and Markle, said they are much in love and infatuated with each other despite their chaotic and complex journey.
The reporter claimed: “Friends of mine in LA who know Harry and Meghan socially…. There is something almost heroic in the way they have held their perilous ground, disdaining all compromise, unmoved by their vociferous critics. They have faced every conceivable form of attack that rational people are capable of mounting, and yet they have scarcely budged an inch.”
Most royal observers say a divorce is unlikely for now.
