For three days, Prince Harry was the rock star royal in London. Prince Harry spent Sunday in Montecito with his family, Meghan Markle and Archie to celebrate daughter Lilibet‘s second birthday.
On Monday, he arrived in the UK to testify and give evidence at London’s High Court in his battle against the Mirror Group Newspapers (MGN.)
Prince Harry and more than 100 people have sued the company for being unlawfully targeted by the MGN.
The British prince said that the media giant illegally obtained private information about his life via phone hacking and intimate voicemails.
Prince Harry claimed that the news organization illegally gathered information on him, the women he was dating, and his close friends for a period of 15 years.
The Duke of Sussex pointed to 140 articles published by the Mirror Group that contained information obtained by hacking.
Prince Harry became the first high-ranking member of the British royal family to take to the witness stand in more than 130 years.
The former soldier became emotional as he revealed: “For my whole life, the press misled me, covered up the wrongdoing, and sat here in court knowing that the (respondents have) the evidence in front of them and for (opposition lawyer) Mr. Green to suggest I’m speculating… I’m not sure what to say about that.”
King Charles III left the country to avoid seeing Prince Harry, who stayed at Frogmore Cottage for the last time.
King Charles has previously evicted Prince Harry and Markle from the home because they are not working royals and they reside in California.
Despite the fact that Prince William lives within walking distance from Frogmore, he did not meet his brother.
A royal expert revealed that King Charles and Prince William’s relationship with Prince Harry is very strained, and no efforts were made to repair it.
Royal expert Katie Nicholl told Vanity Fair: “Harry’s relationship with his father and brother remains strained, and he has not seen them during his fleeting trip to the UK.”
King Charles and Prince William believe that Prince Harry has accomplished his ultimate goal during the trial — embarrass the Royal Family and create a bigger divide.
The family also had a warning for the prince. The royal author went on to explain: “The case risks embarrassing the royal family as private information has been revealed about other family members in Harry’s case against News Group Newspapers (NGN). The fact that he has pursued the case is said to be another factor dividing Prince Harry from his family.”
The Royal Family scolded Prince Harry after the trial. A source stated: “The family believes this is not going to end well.”
Prince Harry does not believe he is bringing shame to himself or the Royal Family.
Prince Harry dragged the major media company to court to put an end to the abuse and harassment.
A close source to Prince Harry revealed: “Harry is a man on a mission, and he wants to see change.”
The Duke of Sussex has no plans to back down.
If harry wants to take the press to court then let him do so as Mr Windsor not as a prince or a duke so as to get as much publicity as he can you know the stuff that he doesn’t want but there you go. It’s now time that Charles took away every title that he can and if that includes his title as prince as well then so be it it’s what he deserves and he has always said that he doesn’t want to be royal so Charles man up and do it the government has given you the power to do it whilst he is still living abroad
