It seems that Prince Harry and his spouse, Meghan Markle, were very serious about their decision not to talk about the Royal Family anymore.
The pair has taken a vow of silence, and they are sticking to their word on good and bad occasions. This week, Queen Camilla celebrated her 76th birthday, and a few royal experts were surprised by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s decision to say and do nothing.
Some noted it might be the best birthday wish for Queen Camilla. King Charles III‘s wife marked the joyous occasion with a gathering of her close friends and family members.
His Majesty made sure that his wife received the highest honor on her special day. At noon, Queen Camilla was honored with a military ceremony by The King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery Battery at London’s Green Park.
Her Majesty was celebrated throughout the entire UK. There were gun salutes for Queen Camilla in Edinburgh, York, Hillsborough, and Cardiff.
Additionally, the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace played “Happy Birthday” for the special occasion. King Charles took to social media to share a more personal birthday message for his wife.
The Monarch wrote:”Wishing Her Majesty The Queen a very Happy Birthday today!”
She received well-wishes from many royal fans. Kate Middleton and Prince William paid tribute to the Queen with a message that read: “A very happy birthday to Her Majesty The Queen!”
As for Prince Harry and Meghan, their grand gesture was to stay mum. Express noted: “However, it seems Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, have refrained from publicly sending her birthday wishes. The couple and the Royal Family have not been exchanging birthday wishes publicly in recent months.”
This could be considered a great thing because whenever Prince Harry decides to talk about his stepmother, it is negative. In interviews and via his bestselling book Spare, Prince Harry shared his darkest opinions and thoughts about Queen Camilla.
Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, called Queen Camilla evil, wicked, and a dangerous woman in the memoir.
During a sit-down for an interview, Prince Harry held nothing back and unveiled his true sentiments for Queen Camilla.
He said: “She had a reputation or an image to rehabilitate, and whatever conversations happened, whatever deals or trading was made right at the beginning, she was led to believe that that would be the best way to doing it.”
He added: “I have a huge amount of compassion for her, you know, being the third person within my parents’ marriage.”
The nonaction from Markle and Prince Harry seems to confirm that there is no communication between Montecito and London, and there is no way to repair what has been broken.
