King Charles has made it clear that he, Prince William, and other senior members of the Royal Family have not reached out to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to vacation in Scotland.
The King has closed the gate at Balmoral Castle, and the Sussexes are not wanted or welcomed.
Prince Harry and Markle will be in Germany for the annual Invictus Game while King Charles, Prince William, Kate Middleton, Queen Camilla, and other royals mark the somber occasion in Scotland.
The Daily Mail revealed: “The Duke and Duchess of Sussex received no “outreach” from senior royals despite their planned appearance in Düsseldorf, Germany, the day after the commemoration, where they are due to kick off the Invictus Games, sources have claimed.”
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have already threatened to hold a significant commemoration of their own.
An insider told The Sun: “If they are not included in any of those plans, they will find a way to mark the significance in their own way.”
Some royal watchers predict that Prince Harry and his family might fly from Germany to London and honor the Queen in a public and emotional manner.
The decision not to have Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in Scotland is a sure sign that the relationship between London and Montecito is over.
The revelations and accusations made via the book, docuseries, and interviews by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are deemed unforgivable by King Charles and the other royals.
The Daily Mail shared: “Relations between Charles and Harry are thought to still not be good after the Duke launched a string of attacks on the Royal Family with his bombshell memoir Spare and a flurry of media interviews to promote the book. It is believed that contact between Prince William and his brother is non-existent, and there doesn’t seem to be a reconciliation in the offing any time soon.”
One royal source seemingly confirmed that the split is final and told the media outlet: “You can read the room on that as to where things are [between them].”
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have signaled that they wanted a truce between the two sides.
