This is a first for Kate Middleton and Prince William; they have decided to deny a happy, feel-good story about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
This week, a report emerged claiming that Kate Middleton had decided to reach out to Prince Harry in the dark of the night to find out how he was holding up in Montecito.
The royal source claimed Kate Middleton, who has been dubbed the peacemaker of the Royal Family, had been privately working behind closed doors to find a terrain d’entente between Prince Harry and Prince William.
“Not so fast,” says one royal expert with ties to the Palace. While on Fox News, Kinsey Schofield explained that she spoke directly to Kensington Palace, and they say there is no truth to the story.
The royal commentator shared: “My contacts at Kensington Palace have told me that this story has no truth to it…The Princess of Wales is not making late-night calls to Prince Harry.”
Poking more holes in the story, the royal expert revealed Middleton and Prince William are not in contact with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
The heir to the throne and the future Queen mind their royal businesses and do not get any updates about the Montecito royals.
She went on to say that Prince William and Kate Middleton would be the last to know about the ins and outs of the self-exiled royals.
She also revealed why Middleton will not be the one to make the first step towards her brother-in-law and Markle by saying: “A significant amount of William’s unhappiness toward Harry revolves around Harry and Meghan discussing Catherine so openly to Oprah and within Spare.”
Schofield then claimed that Middleton respects her husband and his wishes and would never go behind his back to have late-night conversations with Prince Harry or Meghan Markle.
Schofield stated: “Catherine is very respectful of Prince William’s feelings and wouldn’t go behind his back to execute anything. William and Catherine do not receive regular updates on Harry and Meghan, so Kate would not be aware of any difficulties Harry was having to advise him to keep his chin up.”
The source, who spoke to Closer Magazine, shared that Middleton was pushing for a reconciliation with the estranged royal and added: “Kate has been in touch with Harry to tell him to keep his chin up and not worry too much about these temporary setbacks. Harry’s relationship with Kate has remained intact, and it means an awful lot to Harry that she continues to show support, especially during desperate times like this when the chips are down.”
The insider said: “She feels very sorry for him right now. Seeing him go through all these setbacks is very difficult to witness, and it tugs at her heartstrings – especially as his court trial is taking place so close to their home.”
In the past three years, there have been multiple stories claiming that Middleton was still trying to bridge the divide between London and California.
This is the first time the report has been brutally denied by the UK royals, which confirmed that both parties have moved on and there is no possibility to glue the pieces back together again.
