Prince William along with his spouse, Kate Middleton, were enjoying a summer of positive headlines, but two incidents have changed that drastically.
Prince William is being attacked by some of his most die-hard supporters for refusing to travel to Australia and support the national female English soccer team. The squad will take on the Spaniards in the World Cup finale.
Many royal commentators and sports fans have called Prince William’s decision foolish and sexist because Queen Letizia of Spain will travel down under to back her country.
While Prince William was attempting to shake off the bashing for skipping the major sporting event, one royal expert decided to share some rather embarrassing stories about the future King and Queen of England.
In a jaw-dropping interview with Daily Express US, royal expert Tom Quinn, revealed some of the private conversations that he has had with Prince William and Kate Middleton staff members.
They revealed to the commentator that the royal marriage is far from perfect. The author of Gilded Youth: An Intimate History of Growing Up in the Royal Family claimed that a Palace insider explained that the pair get passionately angry at each other, and these fiery exchanges lead to them throwing things at each other.
According to his Palace source, Kate Middleton and Prince William’s marriage is not as calm as it appears on the outside.
He explained: “From people I’ve spoken to, it’s not as placid. It’s not as perfect as it might seem. But William adopts the manners and the way of behaving of his grandmother, and Kate is very good at not complaining and adopting.”
Quinn went on to say that despite the tense and mortifying moments in front of staff, they have a recipe for their marital success.
He shared: “Both of them have stuck to the thing that made the late Queen such a remarkable monarch. They very, very rarely complain. And when they do, it’s always in measured terms.”
Quinn said he discovered from the Palace insider that they have shameful and “terrific rows” around their employees.
He claimed: “Where some couples have a row and throw heavy vases at each other, William and Kate throw cushions at each other. It’s always kept under control.”
The author went on to say that Prince William and Middleton are better at keeping their private lives, rows, and lovers’ quarrels under the rug compared to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
He stated: “They are less picked apart than Harry and Meghan.”
