Many assumed that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle traveled to Germany to cheer, salute, and be inspired by the veterans who brilliantly performed at the Invictus Games.
However, according to one royal expert, Prince Harry and Markle launched the games in Europe for a very different reason: to cause more harm and pain to Prince William and Kate Middleton.
In an interview with OK!, royal author Duncan Larcombe revealed that the Games are more “viciousness that Kate and William have just had to swallow.”
Journalist and commentator Duncan Larcombe said Prince Harry and Meghan Markle put on a spectacular show in Germany by the way they behaved, the fashion, the emotional speeches, and the manner in which they greeted the veterans and their families.
While Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had the spotlight on them, Kate Middleton and Prince William did what they do best: they stayed calm and carried on with multiple royal engagements in England, France, and later this week in New York.
The royal commentator shared: “Kate’s not stupid. She wants any engagements that she’s involved in to get their rightful attention and coverage, and making sure she looks her best and behaves her best is part of that.”
According to Larcombe, the future Queen of England was “fighting back in the only way she can”.
He added: “The Games are a big deal for Harry. It’s one of the biggest things he does, and Kate is just going to have to grin and bear the fact it’s the Harry and Meghan show while it’s on.”
Kate Middleton was successful at being dignified, according to the author, who added: “Her way of dealing with anything they are up to is just to keep a dignified silence and carry on. It’s worked very well for her and William so far. Slow and steady wins the race.”
Larcombe went on to predict that Prince Harry and his wife would not be able to walk back into Prince William and Kate Middleton’s lives after the countless revelations and accusations.
He believes not even an apology would be enough. He claimed: “Some of what Harry and Meghan have said, particularly about Kate, was so personal, and it’s going to take years to heal the hurt because of the damage that’s been done. It’s going to take more than an apology to fix the relationships. I think it could be damaged for the foreseeable future.”
While not explaining how, he went on to reveal that the Games were yet another way for Prince Harry and Markle to be vicious towards the heir, his wife, and the monarchy.
He stated: “The comments will still get to Kate, and the games are just another reminder of some of the viciousness that she and William have just had to swallow because they’re not in a position where they can make any reply.”
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will have a hard time winning over some fans of the Royal Family.
