For weeks, rumors have been spreading claiming that Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, are eyeing a big change.
The duo is apparently hoping to find a new home in Malibu. The power couple currently lives in a stunning mansion in Montecito with their young children, Archie and Lilibet.
However, it is claimed that Prince Harry and the former actress are now searching for an ideal home near the ocean and away from the media.
Sources say that Markle has longed to live in Malibu since she was young. Now that she is an adult, she believes it would be great for her upcoming business ventures to be closer to the action and reside near the big Hollywood shots.
It seems that Prince Harry was hesitant about relocating his family now that they have been nicely settled in Montecito.
A source explained to The Mirror: “There’s no way they can afford both Montecito and tourist-packed Malibu, which is of absolutely no interest to Harry. They looked at the area when they first moved to the US, and he wasn’t a fan.”
Neighbors have now given Markle a convincing argument to leave; they do not want her in Montecito. A neighbor of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle told the Daily Express that the California-born royal is “high and mighty.”
The person went on to add that they are eager for her to move out of the area. The neighbor confessed: “We cannot wait for her to go.”
It is not known how the person obtained that information, but they said that Meghan Markle is “manipulating” her husband, Prince Harry.
The neighbor added: “We aren’t the only ones who haven’t warmed to the Duchess, and her attitude has upset the entire neighborhood.”
This is not the first time that a neighbor has put Prince Harry and Markle on blast. US Navy veteran Frank McGinity dedicated an entire chapter in his memoir to painting the Duke and Duchess of Sussex as ungrateful and unwelcoming.
McGinity wrote that he lives right next to the couple and was turned away when he attempted to initiate contact and deliver a present.
He stated: “Harry and Meghan live on old McCormick property, and I went up to their gate with the films on a CD, but they weren’t interested.”
He added: “The gate guy turned me away and wouldn’t take the film, just saying ‘they’re not interested’. I was trying to be neighborly. If they were interested in the neighborhood, I’ve got a lot of information.”
The couple rarely gets good press.
