Prince Harry made a brief trip to London recently, where he spoke at a charity event.
Prince Harry also called King Charles III and requested permission to pay his respects to his late grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, on the first anniversary of her death.
The Duke of Sussex alone, wallowing in his grief and sorrow, was pictured leaving the King George VI Memorial Chapel, which is part of St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle.
The former soldier was in England while his wife, Meghan Markle, stayed in California with their young children — Archie and Lilibet.
This is Prince Harry’s third trip to his home country this year without his wife and children. The Duke of Sussex was photographed by tourists who were visiting Windsor Castle.
The photos of Prince Harry leaving his grandmother’s final resting place had two interesting aspects, according to a body language expert.
Judi James spoke to The Mirror to say that Prince Harry looked lonely in “sharp contrast, Prince William and Kate were united in their grief as they arrived at St Davids Cathedral in St Davids, Wales to mark the Queen’s death with a small private service.”
As for King Charles, he had his wife, Queen Camilla, by his side as they attended a religious event at Crathie Parish Church honoring the late Queen.
The body language expert said that Prince Harry made great efforts to avoid being photographed after that solo moment.
She stated: “In his very informal shirt that is undone at the neck, Harry’s body language appears almost furtive as he walks quickly out of the Windsor Castle chapel, creating the message that he has made a very solitary, personal, and low-key visit to pay his respects to his grandmother on the anniversary of her death.”
The King, his heir, and their spouses, on the other hand, were pictured and filmed on that day and even mingled with supporters of the monarchy and the late Queen.
Prince William and Kate Middleton dominated the headlines by making a fanfare by arriving at the 10-minute church service via helicopter.
This image of Prince Harry leaving the chapel alone with his thoughts pushed the expert to add: “His rather lonely, isolated-looking appearance was in contrast to the more formal double act of William and Kate and perhaps emphasized the sad fact that Harry is unable to share his grief and pay respects with the rest of his family.”
Prince Harry is open to reconciliation with the Royal Family.
