Rebecca Loos has been getting hit hard after the airing of the Netflix documentary Beckham. The series focuses on the lives of soccer star David Beckham and his wife, former singer Victoria Beckham.
In one episode, the couple was blunt and honest, and for the first time, they spoke about David Beckham’s cheating scandal involving Rebecca Loos.
In 2004, Rebecca Loos was David Beckham’s assistant and moved from London to Spain with him. He was transferred from Manchester United to Real Madrid.
The Spice Girl star decided to stay in England with her children. Loose went on to reveal that she had a lengthy affair with David Beckham and went into great detail about their many sexy escapades.
The couple’s decision to reflect on the past affair and allegations led many to jump on social media to attack Loos. However, when one commentator decided to defend her, she reacted.
The now-yoga and meditation teacher said on Twitter: “Thank you, I am taking in the nasty comments with as much humor as I can.”
In the fourth episode, David and Victoria Beckham confessed that the accusations took an immense toll on their relationship. The pair claimed that the cheating allegations had almost “torn them apart.”
The businessman said: “There were some horrible stories that were difficult to deal with. It was the first time that Victoria and I had been put under that kind of pressure in our marriage.”
The fashion designer interjected: “It was the hardest period for us. Because it felt like the world was against us. And here’s the thing; we were against each other, if I’m being completely honest. You know, up until Madrid, sometimes it felt like we were against everybody else. But we were together. We were connected. We had each other.”
David Beckham revealed that he has no idea how he and his wife were able to beat the rumors and save their marriage.
He stated: “Every time that we woke up, we felt there was something else… We both felt at the time that we were not losing each other but drowning. I don’t know how we got through it, in all honesty.”
David Beckham continued by revealing that it was unbearable to see his wife in so much pain. He concluded by: “Victoria is everything to me; to see her hurt was incredibly difficult, but we’re fighters, and at that time we needed to fight for each other, we needed to fight for our family. And what we had was worth fighting for.”
The couple got married in 1999 and share four children Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz, and Harper.
