In the spring of 2023, Meghan Markle appeared to make a major switch to her wardrobe. The Duchess of Sussex was photographed multiple times out and about in California, casually dressed in shorts, simple tops, and sandals.
Royal watchers were quick to notice that Markle had stopped wearing her most expensive piece of jewelry. The former actress has not been seen in the past six months with her engagement ring.
She did not wear it when she attended the Invictus Games or the Mental Health Summit in New York. A rep for Markle tried to calm nerves about the priceless ring by releasing an official statement saying that she was getting it fixed.
Prince William is concerned about Meghan Markle’s ring because it is part of Princess Diana‘s legacy. According to a source, Prince William has grown suspicious of the explanation given by Meghan Markle’s rep.
Many find that it is taking a very long time to repair the bling. Markle’s vanished ring has set off alarm bells, and via his friends, Prince William is making it known that he wants answers about the bling.
A source told OK!: “And it’s safe to say it has set off alarm bells at the palace. [Prince William’s] putting the word out through mutual friends that he wants to know what’s going on. Not knowing where they are is disturbing for William.”
The insider later shared: “The Prince of Wales is always protective of Diana’s legacy. Despite the future king’s suspicions, the item is being fixed.”
In November 2017, Prince Harry got down on one knee and proposed to Meghan Markle as she was cooking dinner at Nottingham Cottage.
It was a simple romantic gesture with a one-of-a-kind and even priceless ring that has ties to Princess Diana.
