It all started with a wedding. In the spring of 2023, the Russian model and the retired athlete attended the wedding ceremony of billionaire art heir Joe Nahmad and Madison Headrick in Sardinia, Italy and it seems that a love connection was made.
Tom Brady and Irina Shayk embarked on a steamy romance that took them to fancy dinners and lavish hotel rooms in New York, Los Angeles, and London.
Multiple sources were quick to share loved-up fantasy quotes to the media, saying it was the real deal, and Tom Brady and Irina Shayk had found what they had been searching for all their lives after splitting from Gisele Bündchen and Bradley Cooper, respectively.
Fast-forward to the early days of fall 2023 — it is over because Tom Brady said so. According to an insider, who spoke to the Daily Mail, Brady pulled the plug on the romance because he had no time for love.
The person in the know stated that Tom Brady dumped the mother of one because he “wasn’t able to give his full attention” and added: “If Tom had more time for love, he would be all about it and would likely still be dating Irina. He really thinks she is great.”
The source went on to say: “But Tom is keeping himself busy with his businesses, being a part of the sports teams he owns, getting ready for his commentating job next year, and being a father. It is busy being Tom, for all that he can do, he can’t make days last 36 hours.”
They continued: “Everything he does, he wants to give it 110 percent, he knew he wasn’t able to give his full attention and time to Irina and she is such a good person, that he didn’t want her to feel less than in his world.”
The person close to the former quarterback went on to say that that there is a possibility that Brady might be interested in rekindling the romance in the future.
The insider also stated: “Maybe they will find each other in the future, but right now, it is easier for them to be friends.”
Some find it a bit cocky for Brady to assume that Shayk will be single and still be intrigued by him.
