Thursday night, Meghan Markle dazzled as she walked, posed, and did a little modeling on the red carpet for Variety’s Power of Women event in Los Angeles, California.
The event was put together for those who recently landed a Variety cover. Prince Harry’s wife was honored in 2022.
The Duchess of Sussex dazzled in a beige off-the-shoulder dress by Proenza Schouler that featured a slit on the side.
The former actress completed the glamorous look with a black clutch and matching slingback heels from her favorite brand – Aquazzura.
She opted for little jewelry and kept her makeup simple and natural-toned.
Inside the fancy gathering, Markle mingled with many high-profile Hollywood personalities, including film producer Janet Yang, who is also the president of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
The photos led to chatter about Markle’s future endeavors in the land of Hollywood. Markle was happy to respond to the rumors; she told reporters that she is working on “exciting” new projects and “can’t wait to announce them.”
The Montecito royal stated: “Things that make people feel…I was gonna say good, but it’s more than that. Things that make people feel something, right?” And feel a sense of community. But we have so many exciting things on the slate. I can’t wait until we can announce them. We’re just really proud of what we’re creating, and my husband is loving it too.”
Meghan Markle went on to talk about the major success of her former series, Suits. The mother of two said: “[‘Suits‘] was great to work on. Such a great cast and crew. We had a really fun time. I was on it for seven seasons, so quite a bit. But it’s hard to find a show you can binge-watch that many episodes of these days, so that could have something to do with it. But good shows are everlasting.”
Meghan Markle’s decision to walk the red carpet and captivate the media with her presence, her words, and her upcoming plans seem to confirm what author Omid Scobie revealed in his new book Endgame.
Meghan Markle has decided that King Charles III, Prince William, Kate Middleton, and other members of the Royal Family are now minor figures in her comeback story.
In a piece in PEOPLE Magazine, Scobie revealed how Markle has made the royals irrelevant to her success while Prince Harry is still bound to the past.
He told the outlet: “While the Duchess of Sussex has moved on from the royals, Harry still has unfinished business. Quite early on in the [book-writing] process, some of those Meghan sources that I leaned on in the earlier years this time were like, ‘You know what? She doesn’t want anything to do with it.’ For Harry it’s different. He still has unfinished business when it comes to his battles with the press. His challenge will be to find something that balances that out so we can see him working in a space that isn’t connected to the ties that bind from the past.”
Markle appears to be on a different path.
If she is finished with the past and the royal family why is it that she still insists on using her title and why was she so insistent on the 2 so called children should have royal titles it’s easy really they are worth alot of money to her and as for her ever being an A lister pigs will fly you need talant for that and that is something she really hasn’t got
