It seems that Tom Cruise has made peace with his decision to completely disconnect from his youngest daughter, Suri Cruise, whom he shares with his ex-wife, Katie Holmes.
The father parted ways with his child after he and Katie Holmes divorced in 2012. Reports have swirled claiming that Tom Cruise picked the Church of Scientology over Suri Cruise.
In court documents, the Mission Impossible confirmed that theory. When asked if the divorce played a role in his separation from his daughter, Tom Cruise stated: “Listen, when there is a divorce … things change. It’s not an ideal scene. It’s not an ideal situation.”
Tom Cruise surprised many by explaining that Katie Holmes walked out of their marriage because she feared what the controversial church would do to her daughter.
When Cruise was asked if it ended their relationship “in part to protect Suri from Scientology,” he responded by saying, “That was one of the assertions, yes.”
The cold revelation prompted members of Katie Holmes and Suri Cruise’s family to call him out. According to Radar, people linked to the mother-daughter duo said “Cutting ties with Holmes and Suri was his loss, his issue, and his problem.”
The insiders further slammed the actor by saying: “He must be really brainwashed.”
As time went by, people, who knew Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, opted to publicly comment on their sad situation.
Former Scientologist and whistleblower Leah Remini said that Tom Cruise’s deep ties to the religion are the reason why he was never able to “be connected to Suri.”
She went on to explain that Tom Cruise had a master plan for his daughter that would have certainly angered and repulsed Katie Holmes.
The podcast host and television actress stated: “I’m sure his master plan is to wait until Suri gets older so that he can lure her into Scientology and away from her mother.”
In 2024, Suri Cruise will be an adult and by all accounts, she seems grounded, focused, and well-protected by her mother. There is no contact between the father and the daughter, and not many expect that to change.

Other insiders admitted to the same media outlet that Katie Holmes is helping her daughter become the adult she was meant to be and helping her accomplish her goals with no help from Tom Cruise.
His only contribution is signing a check once a month.
