Prince William has many reasons to feud with and be disappointed in Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, but the most surprising one might be related to Doria Ragland.
It has been revealed that Prince William was not thrilled by the way Meghan Markle handled the situation with her mother, Doria Ragland. Markle and her mother have a very close relationship.
It seems that Markle is in contact with only one relative at this point after becoming estranged from her father, Thomas Markle, and her entire paternal family.
Doria Ragland made several trips to London to be with Meghan Markle including for her wedding to Prince Harry and the christening of her grandson, Prince Archie.
There is a possibility that Doria Ragland also traveled to the UK, for private moments and holidays with her daughter, son-in-law, and baby Archie.
It is now being reported that Prince William and Kate Middleton “were never introduced to William and Kate despite taking multiple trips to London.”
According to the person, who spoke to the media, Markle decided to keep her mother away from her brother and sister-in-law.
The source told The Mirror said that Prince William and his wife were baffled and hurt by the fact that Meghan Markle made it impossible for them to sit down and have dinner or a conversation with Doria Ragland.
Sources claimed: “Meghan had attempted to put a separation between Doria and the rest of the Royal Family by sharing that while Doria was in London attending her daughter’s baptism and wedding preparations, she never got to meet her extended family.”
The insider said: “It was all very bizarre. Meghan seemed to want to put a separation between them. The Prince and Princess of Wales had wanted to meet the mother of the former Suits actress.”
According to royal reporter and Fox News writer Neil Sean, insulting rumors circulated claiming that Prince William and Kate Middleton did not make Doria Ragland feel welcome, but it was actually the opposite.
Prince William and his wife made numerous attempts to reach out to Markle and her mother for an informal meeting, but, for odd reasons, it never happened.
He explained: “Katherine and Williams said, “Look, you know, let’s make this really informal; it’d be great to meet mom, why don’t you bring her over, or we can come over to you, and we just have a drink, a cup of tea, whatever, and just have an informal chat.” It was suggested that William, Harry, and Doria would in fact go over to William and Catherine’s, so on several separate occasions, all the details and arrangements were put together.”
The reporter went on to share: “But at the 11th hour on each occasion, there was a phone call through saying, “Either Doria didn’t feel particularly well, she wasn’t up for it today that a jet lag, you name it, they had many different excuses.”
