Believe it or not, Brad Pitt has managed to keep some aspects of his personal life away from the public despite being a famous star and public figure for almost three decades now.
However, now that the world is discovering one of his nasty little secrets, no one is blaming him for probably going to the extremes to keep it hidden.
This week, Jason Priestley made an appearance on Live! With Kelly and Mark, where he revealed that he was Brad Pitt’s roommate and went to confess that there are times that he does not smell very nice.
The Beverly Hills, 90210 alum confessed that he and Pitt often played a dirty game of trying to see who could go the longest without a shower.
He explained: “We used to play this game to see who could go the longest without showering.”
Jason Priestley shared that Brad Pitt was often the winner of the no-shower challenge.
Priestley strongly believes that Pitt no longer spends days and weeks without a proper scrub down; he was, after all, married to Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie. Not many women would agree to sleep next to a stingy husband.
He stated: “I don’t think he does that anymore, but back then he could go a long time without showering.”
The actor claimed that it was a disgusting idea and added: “I think about it now and I’m like, ‘Dude how disgusting! What were you thinking?”
Jason Priestley confessed that he and Pitt lost contact over the years as their careers and lives took very different paths.
He explained: “Brad went off and was making movies all over the world, and I was sort of stuck in one place making a TV show, and it was back in the days before computers.”
He called the end of the friendship sad and added: “The fact that the two of us went off and got strangely famous—we had a pretty good group of friends, and all of a sudden we all sort of dissipated, and it was sad. We lived on ramen noodles, generic beer—the kind that came in white cans labeled BEER— and Marlboro Light cigarettes.”
Many ladies were most likely surprised to learn that Brad Pitt, who is known to be a heartthrob, walked around smelling like old, dirty socks or a sweaty T-shirt.
However, this has been a part of Pitt’s story for a while and it has not affected his popularity with the ladies.
