Where some royal experts see a problem and controversy with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, King Charles III sees a happy solution.
The 75-year-old King, who is facing health issues, must be delighted to see a healthy and rejuvenated Prince Harry and a glowing Markle in Jamaica.
The pair surprised the world by appearing at the premiere of the hotly anticipated movie One Love, which tells the life story of music legend Bob Marley.
Prince Harry and Markle posed for photos with the prime minister of Jamaica and meddled with several stars for the movie.
It has been confirmed that Prince Harry and Markle were invited by the head of Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon, Brian Robbins.
The Daily Mail confirmed: “Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s trip to Jamaica for the Bob Marley film premiere came after the family of Paramount boss Brian Robbins invited them, it has emerged. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are friends with the family of Mr. Robbins, the father-of-three, who is the chief executive of both Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon, and lives with his stylist wife Tracy James in Los Angeles.”
The source close to the couple went on to share: “Harry and Meghan have long been fans of Bob Marley’s music and message and have a personal friendship with the Robbins family, who invited them. The couple were delighted to attend the screening of One Love – which celebrates the late reggae singer’s life – in Kingston on Tuesday night.”
The move from Prince Harry and Markle was also business-oriented. The publication noted: “The Sussexes’ friendship with the Robbins family is notable given Harry and Meghan are searching for new forms of income, with their £80 million ($100 million) Netflix deal expiring next year and their £15 million ($19 million) Spotify contract having ended early last June.”
That is a clear indication that the pair is handling the business that pays them and is working on projects to remain financially independent.
It also implies that Prince Harry and Markle have decided that they will no longer speak ill or at all about the Royal Family.
At King Charles’s age and knowing the many dossiers he has to handle as The Sovereign and patriarch, he must be thrilled to know that the runaway royals will no longer be bitter and revengeful thorns on his side, for they have moved on with their lives.
Royal fans are hoping that the calm will last.
Don’t hold your breath because as soon as money becomes part of the slagging off of the royal family it will be here we go again and people like the robbins will use them to promote their products or films because of the royals attending the premier because without them there it wouldn’t of got world press coverage and of course they would of been paid and a short break holiday all paid for for nothing and if they didn’t have their titles would they still of been there as plain old Mr and mrs Windsor I doubt it
