Prince William has decided to quietly take on the bullies who have cooked up a long list of rumors about his wife, Kate Middleton.
Do not expect the future King to issue a formal statement from Kensington Palace slamming the chatters surrounding Kate Middleton, but rest assured, via friends and family members, he is getting his message across.
Kate Middleton has been in the hospital for over a week now after undergoing abdominal surgery. While Middleton is a public figure, it has been deemed that, like everyone else, she has the right to her privacy.
That has not stopped reports from surfacing claiming that Middleton went to the hospital for a tummy tuck or because of an eating disorder.
It has been claimed that the heir is aware of the rumors, but he is not happy about them. Prince William is frustrated because he knows these are nothing more than wild and mean-spirited rumors that are untrue.
Prince William will not play in the hands of the critics and trolls. He has no intention to release Middleton’s private medical records to the public, not now, or ever.
A source told In Touch: “Kate and her husband, Prince William, have been adamant about not releasing her medical information, and only wanted the barest details revealed. Kate and William would’ve preferred to keep the surgery quiet but felt the public should know why she’ll be out of the spotlight the next few months.”
The insider went on to say that the lack of transparency is worrisome to those who appreciate Middleton because they do not know what is going on with her

The person in the know stated: “Between the lack of an official medical report and the long recovery time, there’s growing concern about Kate’s condition. People think the royals are being very coy. And they’re worried there’s something very serious going on.”
In the midst of the chatter and confusion, a source close to the royal household spoke to PEOPLE to clarify the situation and say that Middleton will bounce back in a couple of months.
The family friend insisted: “It does sound serious with the length of time [she’s taking]. But she is in great hands, will have lots of care and support at home, and is a fit young woman. I am sure she will bounce back.”
Prince William has visited every day this week and will take their three children to see their mother at some point.
