Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton had bad blood between them because the future Queen of England was cold, aloof, and unwelcoming to the former actress.
Reports alluded to the coldness between the duo, and Meghan Markle and Prince Harry loudly and repeatedly confirmed it.
During the Oprah Winfrey interview, Markle revealed to the world that Middleton made her cry before her wedding.
In the Netflix series Harry & Meghan, Markle and her husband stated that Middleton was not a hugger. The couple said that Princess Catherine refused to show any kind of warmth or tenderness the first time she met Markle.
In Spare, Prince Harry leaked a series of cold emails sent to his wife by Middleton. The former soldier insisted that Middleton and other members of the Royal Family declined to embrace and be present for Markle.
In Endgame, it was revealed that Kate Middleton and King Charles III made racist comments about Prince Archie.
That is a recurrent issue for the California-based couple. Markle has insisted, time and time again, that the Royal Family, including Kate Middleton, turned their backs on her when she needed them the most.
She claimed that she was dealing with a lot of mental issues, but no one reached out. This week, one royal expert decided to weigh in on the endless controversies surrounding the wives of Prince William and Prince Harry.
Royal commentator and journalist Neil Sean explained that Markle was not cut off by Middleton. Sources claimed that Middleton reached out to Markle after the birth of Prince Archie, and this is what happened: “Because there’s a lot of negativity being written about exactly how Meghan was cut off, left high and dry, and felt so alone in her short tenure while she lived over here in the United Kingdom as a new mom to Archie. It’s emerged that it’s been fascinating to find out that Meghan wasn’t so much left alone at all, you see.”
He added: “He went on to say that Middleton, who is a mother of three and is fully experienced in the department known as motherhood, tried to help Markle out because she was concerned about the first-time mom who had a lot to juggle. But Markle told Middleton, “No, thank you.”
The Fox News contributor stated: “According to this well-placed source, Catherine very quickly offered any help that she could. You know, if you want to get a nap, you would like some assistance with feeding that sort of thing, just like new moms sticking together. And let’s not forget, of course, at this point Catherine had gone through a lot of those experiences herself. But according to that well-placed source, each time Catherine reached out, she basically said, Would you like some help, or do you know turning up even at the cottage? Saying I don’t mind giving you a break if you want it was met with a flat no, I can cope, I’m fine.”
He continued: “Now, apparently, what’s gone on record is the fact that Catherine did say she was really worried about Meghan. Basically, not on a negative line, but of, uh, you know, wanting to be the perfect mom, being able to do it all, be glamorous, do the feeding at the night shift, that type of thing.”
The royal reporter also stated that Middleton did not see much of Prince Archie. He concluded by explaining that Markle also shut the door on Prince William.
He shared: “So, of course, this was flagged up again when Catherine and, of course, William asked if there’s anything you’d like us to do every time they were shut down. So in fact, Catherine very rarely met, and this is the interesting bit or very rarely seen Prince Archie. So all of these negative stories of saying how Meghan was cut off left high and dry for nobody to assist or indeed help her, it just doesn’t ring true. There was a lot of help, there was a lot of opportunity, but seemingly, for whatever reason, the door was firmly shut on the then Duchess of Cambridge, offering her help, insight, and above all, friendship. Now, seemingly, that wasn’t enough for Meghan Markle. What was the problem?”
Observers believe that the whole truth will come out eventually.
