There has been tons of drama surrounding Princess Lilibet, the only daughter of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, since she was born.
The little girl is innocent in this whole debacle, and thankfully she will probably not know about it for many years to come.
However, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s decision to give her the name Lilibet — which is Queen Elizabeth II‘s private pet name, is a source of headache.
Only Queen Elizabeth’s father and husband used her childhood’s name. The late Monarch told her close friends that after her spouse died, no one would ever call her Lilibet again.
However, Prince Harry and the former actress made sure Lilibet became a household name for all the wrong reasons. Prince Harry told the world that he had his grandmother’s full permission for the usage of the name.
However, close sources to the late Queen have claimed otherwise. A new layer of the drama has now been revealed to the media.
According to a royal commentator, Markle secured a major win for her baby girl before announcing the name and subsequently setting off an avalanche of drama.
Royal biographer Angela Levin dropped the bombshell that Markle and Prince Harry copyrighted Lilibet’s name before she was even born.
During an appearance on GB News, Levin said: “That’s an incredibly sad comment. I think one of the reasons she felt that way was because it was discovered that Megan, even before Lilibet was born, had taken out the names officially so that she could use them to buy things and to identify them.”
Presenter Eamonn Holmes asked, “What do you mean? They’d copyrighted the name.” Levin without hesitation, responded by: “Yes. Before she had Lilibet, I think that was awful for the Queen because she gets drawn into owning organizations due to the name being so unique.”
She went on to slam the couple for their decision to anger Queen Elizabeth by saying: “This name is just for her because she couldn’t say Elizabeth when she was young. It’s also for her family, her parents, and the Duke of Edinburgh; they all called her it out of love; it’s very intimate. People who don’t know about that will think that the Queen is supporting it; let’s buy it. I think it’s appalling.”
She concluded by claiming that it was all “very disrespectful” of Markle and Prince Harry.
The royal biographer slammed Markle the hardest because she insisted that she knew nothing about the monarchy and revealed that she had no respect for the rules and protocols during her Netflix series.
The royal expert stated: “It’s Meghan trying to get her own back because she hated the fact that she wasn’t treated as she felt she should have been in the Royal Family. We saw this on Netflix when they did their six-hour broadcast; she did that imitation curtsy. So over the top, wasn’t it? Harry’s face was just stricken. I mean, it just shows you not just who is in charge, but that she doesn’t care what he thinks because he would be very hurt by that.”
Some observers are wondering if the latest developments around King Charles III‘s health and The Duke of Sussex‘s quick return to England will change the overall landscape.
Markles biggest problems are still to come because when William and Kate take the throne ie king and queen they hate her for everything she has done to the royal family and no doubt the royal family will be blaming the pair of them for the kings health because of all the pressure and strain that they have put the family through and I also think that the british public of a whole will also lay blame in their direction let’s just hope that she can keep her big mouth shut at this point in time
