It was not that long ago that Prince Harry made an appearance on live television and explained that he wanted to reconnect with his family.
During an interview with Good Morning America, The Duke of Sussex confessed that after spending 30 minutes with his cancer-stricken father, King Charles III, he has decided — he will be traveling to London more often to spend time with his royal relatives.
The former soldier happily stated that he loved his father as he shared a few details about their brief visit. It now seems that Meghan Markle is taking a page from her husband.
Sources have revealed that The Duchess of Sussex, who is very concerned about King Charles who was diagnosed with cancer and Kate Middleton who recently underwent surgery and who will be recuperating until May; has decided it is time for bygone to be bygones and reached out.
Not only that, Markle, like Prince Harry, now thinks that a reconciliation is in the cards. One insider told OK!: “Meghan has contacted Kate and Charles. So moves are being made to reconcile.”
The tea spiller went on to say that while Kate Middleton is open to resolving the thorny issues with Markle, Prince William has refused to budge.
The source claimed: “The Duchess of Sussex personally reached out to her sister-in-law and father-in-law to end the years-long animosity between the fractured royal houses.”
The person continued: “Even though The Princess of Wales and His Majesty are open to the idea, it was made clear that Prince William will likely never forgive Prince Harry. That one [Harry and William] is a tougher egg to crack, and will probably never happen.”
Another source chimed in that Markle is one hundred percent behind Prince Harry’s decision to reconnect with his blood relatives.
The family friend shared: “Meghan is supportive of Harry in all of this, and she wishes the royals—Kate included—the very best.”
Many royal watchers say this is Markle playing with the Royal Family’s feelings again. They believe the reach-out story is fabricated for positive headlines.
Others claimed that if she had been sincere in her decision, she could have flown to England with Prince Harry to see King Charles and Kate Middleton, who are battling health issues at the moment.
Of course, that is unlikely to happen, and therefore, Markle is once again accused of pulling on the royals’ heartstrings.
