Via multiple channels, Prince William has made it clear that he does not want Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, in the UK.
Sources pushed the idea even further by saying that Prince William does not ever want to be in the same room and breathe the same air as his younger brother.
This was because of the damaging revelations about the royals he sold to the media, a publishing company, and Netflix. However, it seems that the British government has other plans.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been given 26 million big reasons to be in the United Kingdom. Veterans Affairs Minister Johnny Mercer has pulled all the stops to convince Prince Harry to let Birmingham host the Invictus Games in 2027.
💥 The Government has announced funding of up to £26million to back the UK’s bid to host the Invictus Games in 2027.

Note that the Games were launched in 2014 by Prince Harry in London. According to a tweet issued by the British Ministry of Defense, the government is willing to fork out “funding of up to £26 million ($32 million) to back the UK’s bid to host the Invictus Games in 2027.”
The offer seems irresistible, so will they take it? According to The Times, Prince Harry is interested in the bid.
The British government has certainly decided to sweeten the deal for the reluctant pair, who stepped down from their royal duties in 2020.
Markle is in no rush to return to London after she confessed that she was pained by the media. Prince Harry is embroiled in a huge lawsuit with the British government, which refuses to let him pay for proper security for himself and his family when they travel to London.
In collaboration with the British government, there will be an Invictus Games 10th Anniversary Service at St. Paul’s Cathedral on May 8.
Express confirmed that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are scheduled to attend. The Duke of Sussex is set to speak at the service.
The media outlet reported: “The dates and details are being kept very hush-hush, but the Invictus Games 10th Anniversary Service has now been confirmed at St. Paul’s Cathedral on May 8. Both Harry and Meghan are listed as guests, and a speech has been scheduled, but there is still a question mark over whether Meghan will make an appearance. Her name has been penciled in as a TBC (to be confirmed).”
According to a source who spoke to the publication, the event would be a major step for Prince Harry and Markle to reestablish themselves and cleanse their sins by pushing this great cause.
It went on to reveal: “This event is being seen as a very important part of Harry and Meghan’s rehabilitation. It’s viewed as an important event that is almost on par with what a working royal would undertake. It’s a worthy cause where Harry is the key ambassador, and it will be a good starting point for the Sussexes to repair relations with the royal family and the British people at the same time.”
The royal insider said it is not clear if Prince Harry and Markle’s children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet will travel to London.
The person in the know stated: “The children’s attendance is still up in the air because they will only visit the UK if their mother [Meghan] decides to attend. Harry is hoping that they will join him so that they can all enjoy the service, and everyone can meet up with members of his family while they are over.”
Despite this opening, reconciliation between the brothers is still not in the cards.
