A brave and defiant Kate Middleton with the support of her husband, Prince William, has decided to show their harshest critics what they are made of.

Despite all the backlash, the embarrassing disclaimer, and the editor’s notes from the mega agencies declaring that Kensington Palace has manipulated their official photos and videos, Kate Middleton has decided that the show must go on. Princess Kate will keep up with one special family tradition.

It has been confirmed that Middleton will release a picture for Prince Louis‘s birthday, as she has done in previous years.

Kate Middleton and Prince William’s younger son, Prince Louis, will celebrate his 6th birthday on April 23. Middleton has not yet decided if she will take the photo by herself or hire a professional photographer for the special occasion.

A source from the Palace spoke to The Sunday Times, explaining that Princess Kate will keep her plans this year.

PEOPLE Magazine had the following to say on the matter: “Prince Louis celebrates his birthday next month, raising the question of whether Kate Middleton and Prince William will release a new portrait of their youngest son following the Mother’s Day photo controversy. The Prince and Princess of Wales‘s youngest son will turn 6 on April 23, and The Sunday Times reported that the royal couple is expected to continue their tradition by sharing a new portrait of the young prince in celebration of the occasion.”

One of Kate Middleton’s and Prince William’s aides spoke to The Sunday Times to reveal why the parents have decided that the best option is to share the moment with the public.

The staff member claimed: “They appreciate the public’s love and affection for their children and know there is a public appetite to see them on their birthdays.”

Royal expert Christopher Andersen appeared on Fox News to give some suggestions to Middleton on how to avoid the drama, conspiracies, and disclaimers.

The author of The King said: “My suggestion would be to either have Kate take the photo and not retouch it or have Kate take it and explain in advance how and why she altered the photo, or have a professional photographer take it and do all the explaining.”

He added: “I mean, will it really matter? The conspiracy theories will continue anyway. That particular genie is out of the bottle.”

Meanwhile, the endless backlash over the Mother’s Day picture has poured into the cancer announcement video to create a new mess for the future Queen of England.
