The pair was as joyous as ever as they filmed scenes for Prince Harry’s new Netflix reality series that is focused on polo.
However, it is believed that behind Prince Harry’s massive smile, there is some pain that the Duchess of Sussex is hesitant to ease.
According to Kate Middleton‘s mother, Carole Middleton, Prince Harry and Markle have not yet spoken to her daughter since she broke the cancer news to the public.
A royal expert chimed in to reveal that Prince Harry is torn and devastated by the bitter divorce from Kate Middleton and his brother, Prince William.
Talking to The Mirror via The NY Post, royal expert Tom Quinn revealed that Prince Harry is having a tough time dealing with the feelings of loss and sadness that are now linked to his sister-in-law, Kate Middleton.
The pair once enjoyed a tight bond, almost like brother and sister. It all burned to the ground after Prince Harry and Markle decided not only to step down from their royal duties but to share damaging revelations about the entire Royal Family.
According to a royal expert, since Middleton shared her health issues, the Duke of Sussex has been struggling with the reality that he “really misses” the uncomplicated friendship he and Middleton once shared.
Quinn told The Mirror: “[Harry] misses that warm, uncomplicated relationship, and he is torn between loyalty to his wife and regret about the loss of the woman he was so close to. Losing Kate was Harry’s second great loss after losing his mother.”
However, Quinn revealed that Prince Harry will have to wallow in his feelings alone because Markle “does not share her husband’s sentiment when it comes” to Middleton.
He said that Markle views herself as an outsider when it comes to the royals and added: “Meghan doesn’t feel guilty about Kate, because she feels that Kate should’ve been the one person in the royal family to back her against every difficulty. Apart from anything else, Meghan knew Kate was an outsider, so she just couldn’t understand why Kate always towed the royal line rather than supporting her, Meghan, the other outsider.”
The writer continued by saying that Markle would not make a gesture towards Middleton because the media would call her an opportunist who jumped on the cancer train. She is still waiting for Middleton to apologize for causing her pain.
He concluded by: “Kate’s cancer diagnosis has been a real shock for Meghan, but she can see no way to patch up the relationship, simply because it has become so poisonous. She also doesn’t want people to say that she is trying to make things up with Kate just because she is ill. She still feels Kate was in the wrong and should apologize before they try to build bridges.”
It seems that Prince Harry will have an emotional split with his wife on the matter because he is making plans to see Middleton and King Charles III during his upcoming trips to London.
