Prince William is caring for his wife, Kate Middleton, who is battling cancer and undergoing preventive chemotherapy.
Princess Kate is also recovering from major surgery. The heir to the throne, Prince William, embodies strength and resilience as he juggles the schooling and extracurricular activities of his three energetic young children — Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 5.
In addition, the prince is carrying the burden of a sick father. King Charles III is also battling cancer.
Prince William, swimming in the sea of a slimmed-down monarchy, has to participate in multiple royal engagements and meet with leaders to ensure the continuity of the century-old British institution.
Given his immense responsibilities, it is only natural that Prince William occasionally takes a step back to recharge and rejuvenate.
While some have slammed him for doing so, many support Prince William’s decision to escape Adelaide Cottage and catch his breath.
Prince William is not alone in his decision to take a break. His mother-in-law, Carole Middleton, is a strong supporter, cheering for the future king as he occasionally cuts loose.
According to multiple reports, recently, Prince William was spotted in an English pub with Kate Middleton’s mother, sharing a few drinks, conversations, and laughter.
The Prince of Wales and his wife, Kate Middleton’s mom, Carole Middleton, were pictured grabbing a drink at a local pub, according to Richard Eden of the Daily Mail.
The royal expert wrote: “Indeed, I’m told he popped into a pub in North Norfolk at the weekend with his mother-in-law, who is said to have been staying with the Prince and Princess of Wales for Easter.”
A patron told the royal reporter: “It was all very low-key, with no great fanfare. He just walked in and through the pub. He appeared to be with Carole Middleton.’ There was no sign of Catherine, who is being treated for an undisclosed form of cancer.”
Prince William has been finding solace in various activities. From attending soccer games with friends and Prince George to quiet walks around the Windsor estate and intimate dinners with close friends, he is actively managing his stress and maintaining a healthy balance.
He has decided to take care of himself to give Kate Middleton the care she truly deserves during this difficult time. Something that Princess Kate more or less confirmed in her cancer announcement.
The mom of three said that her husband has been present every step of the way.
