Meghan Markle has offered Kate Middleton and Prince William the best gift with her latest announcement in a bizarre twist of fate.
It was a busy week for the Royal Family, filled with excitement and a few confusing decisions. First, it was claimed that Markle and Prince Harry planned to travel to London for the big anniversary event regarding the Invictus Games.
It was also revealed that Markle and her husband were desperate to meet King Charles III and Middleton, who are both battling cancer.
The California royals wanted to share their good wishes in person and start the process of reconciliation with the ailing royals and possibly Prince William.
For several days, there were back and forths; the pressing questions were: Would Markle step foot in London, and would Middleton accept to meet her? Royal experts posed these.
The former actress’ surprising decision to travel to Nigeria rather than England has unexpectedly provided Middleton and Prince William with a much-needed break from the drama, stress, and tension.
At the moment, Middleton’s recovery depends on her A-class treatment, a stress-free environment, and lots of TLC from her entourage.
Insiders close to Middleton and Prince William have made it clear that they have no intention of engaging with Prince Harry and Markle at this time.
Markle did the future King and Queen a great favor by skipping the English trip. According to royal insiders, Kate Middleton is happy that Markle has decided to reach out and send well wishes long distances away because there is no going back after Spare, the interviews, and Netflix’s Harry & Markle.
A friend of Markle and Prince William told the Daily Beast: “Both sides understand each other’s position now. William and Catherine felt completely betrayed by Harry‘s memoir Spare.”
In a lengthy piece written by Daniela Elser, she explained that Middleton’s attitude toward Prince Harry and Markle is comparable to this past situation: “Kate‘s attitude towards any Harry meeting sounds like it can best be summarized by what Princess Anne told a wannabe kidnapper who tried to snatch her in 1974: “Not bloody likely.”
She went on to say that Middleton had no contact with Prince Harry and Markle before her illness, and now that she is fighting to recover, she will indeed not be meddling with the troublemaking pair.
She added: “They don’t speak to Harry and Meghan, and they are certainly not about to start when Catherine is at her most vulnerable.”
