Kate Middleton joined the Royal Family over two decades ago, yet she has found ways to maintain some privacy. She has pushed to keep the lid on her personal life more so after revealing that she is battling cancer.
Middleton has avoided being seen in public and spoke only once about her significant health issues in a video filmed by BBC.
Princess Kate shared: “William and I have been doing everything we can to process and manage this privately for the sake of our young family.” She also stated: “Our family now needs some time, space, and privacy.”
Prince William has also taken swift and concrete measures to ensure that his wife’s private health battle remains inside the walls of the Palace and in the clinic where she is being treated.
The heir to the throne has fought to ensure his wife’s health records remain sealed. The protective husband has also banned courtiers from revealing information about Princess Kate’s condition and treatment to the media.
The husband and wife believe in complete confidentiality and discretion, so they have refused to let Prince Harry and Meghan Markle into their vicinity.
Despite the royal couple’s best efforts, some leaks have taken place. The most recent one comes from a friend of Kate Middleton’s, who also serves as the stylist for her three young children.
In a new interview, children’s clothing designer Amaia Arrieta, who has created many outfits worn by Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, lifts the veil on Middleton’s tear-jerking situation.
The confidante confessed that Middleton was going through a hellish situation. The pal stated: “I’m heartbroken at the moment. I think they are going through hell.”
She declined to give details and instead shared a message of hope with the couple. The fashion expert revealed: “I hope they will be back. It’s really personal.”
How Middleton feels about this breach of trust from the friend is unknown. Thus far, Middleton’s close relatives have not directly spoken to the media about her state.
However, this week, Prince William briefly updated royal well-wishers on his wife’s health while participating in a royal engagement.
During a visit to the north-east of England, Julie Cain, a fan of the Royal Family, asked: “Do you mind if I ask how your wife and children are?”
Prince William answered by saying: “All is going well, thank you. Yes, we’re doing well.” It is unclear when Princess Kate will return to the public life.
