Kate Middleton and her team are aware of the latest shocking reports and rumors that have been circulating online since she decided to announce to the world that she is battling cancer.
Princess Kate has decided to take matters into her own hands and address them head-on. She will talk to the public with the full knowledge that she cannot completely stop the speculations about her health, public appearances, disappearance, and even marriage to Prince William.
Sources close to Kate Middleton spoke to The Daily Beast. They revealed that she has decided to record a second video message where she will give an update on her condition and possibly a date for her comeback.
The Daily Beast shared: “Asked how the Palace would deal with the inevitable resurgence of conspiracy theories and speculation that a protracted absence would provoke, The Daily Beast’s source said: ‘I would not rule out another video message updating the country on her health. That proved to be a very effective way of keeping the conspiracy theorists at bay.'”
The new video is believed to be shared in the upcoming weeks. Middleton has decided to withdraw entirely from public life to focus on her health and now has no choice but to adopt the royal motto, “She has to be seen and believed.”
This week, a Reddit thread went viral after a Spanish reporter revealed that Middleton is not doing well and will have to undergo a second surgery in the upcoming months.
The well-known author and reporter Concha Calleja claimed: “About Kate Middleton specifically, I have been told, ‘I would like to tell you that the worst is over, but it’s not true.’ The worst is not over. The treatment does not finish until August, and she will have to undergo another surgical intervention before the end of the year.”
She added: “Let’s hope that with the end of the treatment and another surgical intervention, something more will be known. I hope that before that they will say something. I think that, for the moment, we will not see her until she is sufficiently recovered.”
The report of a second surgery comes after Palace sources confirmed to The Daily Mail that Middleton will not participate in any royal engagements this summer — she will not attend Ascot.
The Daily Beast has also revealed that Middleton has a slim chance of returning in 2025 if not later.
