Kate Middleton is the target of a series of wild reports about her health and her return to public life. The mother of three and future Queen of England has removed herself from her royal duties to deal with cancer.
Princess Kate announced the diagnosis earlier this year and has since started preventive chemotherapy. Kate Middleton’s absence has led to wild, weird, and alarming speculations.
Most media outlets claimed Prince William‘s wife would be seen in 2025. A few rogue outlets pushed the timeline further by claiming she might retire as a public servant.
However, Middleton wants to clear the air on when she will reprise her role as the beloved stateswoman in the monarchy. Sources close to Princess Kate explained that she would return to work before 2025.
One royal insider, who spoke to Vanity Fair, said the reports pushing the theory about her being absent have been grossly incorrect and exaggerated.
The media outlet explained: “Following reports that Kate Middleton has been seen out and about with her family in recent days, speculation has turned to when the princess will return to official engagements. Reports claiming that Princess Kate is likely to be back at work next year are inaccurate, sources tell Vanity Fair, and while The Daily Mail has reported that Kate could be back as soon as this autumn, an official return date has yet to be planned.”
The source, who spoke to Vanity Fair, also revealed that the only person who will decide when Princess Kate will step back into the limelight is Princess Kate.
The publication shared: “VF has been told that Kate is in no hurry to return to work, focusing entirely on her recovery. According to one well-placed source, “There is no timeline, and there is certainly no hurry. It will be when Catherine feels ready and when she gets the green light from her medical team. But she will 100% be coming back to work, of that there is no question.”
Sources have revealed that when Middleton is ready to give an update on her condition, she will do so via a new video message.
When she is fit enough to return to her royal duties, she will make that announcement via the Palace spokesperson.
The Princess of Wales is doing her best to be a public servant as she tries to protect her privacy. Observers say patience is necessary at the moment.
