Several media outlets have reported that the situation is direr than previously assumed, and there is a considerable possibility that Middleton will never return to her previous roles as a stateswoman and representative of the British monarchy.
However, Princess Kate‘s friends have been talking to the media to clear the air. An insider, who spoke to Vanity Fair, revealed that Middleton has been undergoing preventive chemotherapy for the past weeks.
According to the person in the know, Kate Middleton has seen the impact of medication on her body and is grateful. The confidant claimed that Middleton is getting stronger thanks to the treatment.
The publication revealed: “Sources close to the princess have told VF that the royal, who is going through a course of preventive chemotherapy, has “turned a corner” with her treatment in recent weeks and is feeling a lot better.”
A family friend stated: “It has been a great relief that she is tolerating the medication and is actually doing a lot better. It has, of course, been a very challenging and worrying time. Everyone has rallied around her—William, her parents, and her sister and brother.”
PEOPLE Magazine revealed this month that Kate Middleton has been able to show the results of her treatment.
She has been out and about with her children.
Middleton has also been spotted running errands by herself and with family members.
Us Weekly shared: “Kate’s feeling strong enough to be very involved with the kids. She’s been an active parent.”
As to why Middleton cannot return to her royal duties, an insider explained that being around a crowd might lead to infections or cause her to fall ill.
A second source told the media outlet: “Kate’s recovery is going well. She’s not able to see many people because she is susceptible to getting sick, and they don’t want her compromised, but she’s up and about.”
