Jennifer Lopez took a short break from the ongoing drama surrounding her personal life, only to return to some devastating news.
The singer and her husband, Ben Affleck, are going through a hellish situation just two years after having what many saw as the perfect wedding ceremony.
It has been an epic journey for Lopez and Affleck, spanning two decades, several failed marriages, and a combined five children.
After climbing mountains and struggling through valleys, the pair finally concluded that they were each other’s person. Lopez and Affleck reunited, hoping for that happy ending that they were praying for.
However, in the past few weeks, the marriage crumbled despite their efforts to overcome communication issues, manage hectic schedules, and reconcile their differing views on life and love.
It all became too much for Lopez, who packed a few stunning bikinis and fled to Italy for a little sun, sea, and Instagram-worthy photos.
During her time in Italy, Lopez was spotted enjoying boat rides, indulging in fine dining, taking in the breathtaking sights, and doing some luxury shopping.
The vacation ended, and she returned to the colossal California mansion that she had purchased with Affleck. It was a rude awakening. Lopez discovered that the Oscar winner had removed all of his belongings from the mansion.
PEOPLE Magazine reported: “Ben Affleck is moving his belongings out of his shared home with Jennifer Lopez.”
The media outlet further revealed: “More than one month after PEOPLE first reported that Affleck, 51, and Lopez, 54, were living separately in Los Angeles as they dealt with strife in their marriage, a source close to the couple tells PEOPLE that the Academy Award-winning filmmaker moved all of his things out of the couple’s Beverly Hills mansion before Lopez returned from a recent trip to Europe.”
It is unclear who was told beforehand that Affleck was moving his items from the home that is back on the market.
A source close to Affleck revealed to the entertainment magazine: “Ben continues to live at the Brentwood rental. He’s been there for about two months now. He seems okay. He’s been at his office every day and seems focused on work. He’s also spending time with his kids.”
Many believe this is another clear induction that the marriage is over and the pair will soon sign the divorce papers.
According to insiders, the duo has made up their minds and unless a miracle takes place, they will slowly roll out the separation announcement.
