Prince William might be busy caring for his sick wife while managing the monarchy’s business, but he still finds time to deal with the people complicating his life.
The heir to the throne and his wife, Princess Kate, have had a long-running feud with his controversial uncle, Prince Andrew.
It all started when Kate Middleton joined the Royal Family two decades ago. It has been revealed that Uncle Andrew‘s dearest was less than welcoming.
Daily Mail columnist Richard Kay reports: “William has long held a grudge against Andrew for being unwelcoming when he first introduced the then Kate Middleton to the Royal Family and feels that his father has been too soft on him.”
Middleton consistently proved Prince Andrew wrong, challenging his despicable view of her joining the royals.
Meanwhile, Prince Andrew has used the past twenty years to make a mockery of himself and the Royal Family by getting embroiled in endless bombshell scandals, including his entanglement with Jeffrey Epstein.
This week, the feud between Waleses and Prince Andrew intensified after it was confirmed that King Charles III was not the only person who wanted him to exit the Royal Lodge.
Since Queen Elizabeth II‘s passing, King Charles has been seeking ways to reduce the financial burden of maintaining the royal land, leading to his burning desire to remove his brother, Prince Andrew.
The 50-plus bedroom property also needs millions of dollars of repair, which Prince Andrew does not have.
According to a new report, Prince William and his spouse are as heavily involved in the push to remove Prince Andrew from the way as King Charles.
The Waleses couple and their young children have been living in the modest Adelaide Cottage with no private staff, and they believe relocating to the Royal Loge would give them all the space they need and the nurses Middleton needs by her side.
According to The Mirror: “It has led to speculation that it is William who is pushing his father to evict the Duke of York from Royal Lodge so the Waleses could move in.”
Royal expert Tom Quinn told The Mirror that The King and the heir should evict Uncle Andrew from the mansion because it will best serve the couple.
He claimed: “It sends [a] message to Andrew that having disgraced himself, he can no longer expect to live in the grand style. And, finally, it means that a suitably grand residence can be made ready for the royals who really matter – William and Kate. Charles is determined that Royal Lodge is the only residence on the royal estate at Windsor that is big enough and regal enough for his heir.”
The leak of the story about the couple’s hopes of moving to the Royal Lodge is a small warning shot to let Andrew know that he needs to chop- chop and pack up his teddy bears and other belongings.
