Prince William has made it clear that he will continue streamlining the monarchy, reducing its size and scope to a skeletal level.
Once King William takes the throne, it will include only him, Kate Middleton, and the heir, Prince George.
He does not want his two youngest children, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, to be working royals. He believes they should have a normal upbringing, the freedom to explore their passions, and fulfilling careers.
If there was any doubt, William, Prince of Wales, cleared the air — he does not want Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, and their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, in his vicinity.
He hopes they never return to the UK because he wants “them out of sight and out of mind.”
With the official announcement of their banishment from the kingdom, Prince Harry and Markle have been forced to reevaluate their plans for their children.
The pair emotionally decided to pass on their legacy to their son and daughter, who will take over their charity businesses. This move will ensure the bright future of these initiatives.
However, their decision to involve Archie and Lilibet in their charity businesses has not been without its critics.
Some question their commitment to keeping their children out of the public eye and away from the drama of their organization. According to a report, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have decided to anoint their successor in 2025.
Via Express, it was revealed that Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet will be at the Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler.
Prince Harry launched this significant sporting event to support wounded, injured, and sick servicemen and women. The opening ceremony is set to take place in February 2025 in BC Place Vancouver.
A royal insider told Express that the power couple will make it a family affair: “The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are making arrangements for their children to attend the opening ceremony at BC Place Vancouver, which will provide guests with a family-friendly start time of 1 pm on February 8.”
The royal insider went on to explain that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle believe Archie and Lilibet will be able to help promote a new ‘family-friendly’ Invictus Games.
The person in the know told the publication: “The Sussexes have been very involved with the organizational elements of the Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler events, and it was very much their idea to make this a family-friendly game so that those taking part can bring their children along.”
Prince Harry has decided it will be a family affair, and he is wise to lead by example by introducing his children to the event.
The source stated: “As both the founder and patron of the Invictus Games and Invictus Games Foundation, Harry is keen to lead by example and bring his family along.”
Prince Harry made it known that Prince Archie would be his successor and would receive patronage one day. The source concluded by: “A patronage will one day be passed to Archie so the foundation can be kept within the family. Harry is adamant that the Invictus Games will remain a Sussex initiative.”
The Sussexes are trying to chart a different path for their family.
